Ion Idriess in his seminal book on gold prospecting, notes many tin miners in Nth Qld using what they called a 'Banjo' which appears to be something quite similar, except its bigger and with some bag or matting to reduce the exit flow of tin.

The accusation from mum was we were roadrunners, meep meep. Cheap black pans and Kmart red metal detectors came with us fishing with the parents on school holidays, and visits to the Golden Triangle of central Victoria. Outgrew the BMX, and mountain bikes led to mountains - with gold-bearing creeks plus colourful clear stones too! That's Junior Overbearing's next four decades sorted. Make a trommel from your Xmas BMX, boy! Happy 2025, Vogus Prospecting and all the viewers and supporters! 👍🌏 🦘

Super glue was originally invented, kind of on accident in 1942. They were trying to make clear gunsights for the war, and it actually ended up gluing a brand new machine together that would cost about 48k in today's money.

I had 650 grams plus of years of prospecting in WA. 🧐🧐🤔🤔🤔. With some Government ideas popping up possibly trying to find out just how much Gold do us the people possibly contain….WA Tax specialists or simply people that get all cosy feeling inside when the price of a physical object ( Especially GOLD) as I’d is required to purchase $5,000 in precious metals or more in one transaction……….. I spent 100s of hours sweating my but off. Isolation, being ripped off by Gold pilfering scabs, virgin ground found after weeks with nothing to show. To be swooped upon by people with drones and other lowlife methods. Literally scanning 2 meters away from myself…..👊👊👊🤛🤛🤛💩💩💩💩💩 . But unfortunately I lost all my Gold..🙀🙀🙀😇😇😇😇😇 BUGGER…….🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️👊👊 Albo and co and Cook and co 🖕🖕🖕🖕🖕🖕🖕🖕🖕
