Yes, that is the spot I would also start running operations. Proper classifying even 3 buckets (each) of vertically classified 20, 30, 50, 70 and 100 mesh is just a vertical wash and shake. Best option is a 2-man operation. 1 digger, 1 washer and classifier. You bring home a lotta classified material, but you can then also toss the 20s and 30s and have the 50s, 70s, and 100 mesh shinies. Pour off the tailings into the appropriate classifier bucket - anything below 100 mesh most-likely is clays, silts, and organic muds ... or so fine that it takes a massive amount of garage time to sluice all these microns out.

I was doing that 10 pan challenge two weeks ago. But I accidentally used a snuffer bottle that had a previous trip gold in it so when I dumped it out, it was a really really good 10 pans. I didn’t wanna have to have somebody call me out on that video so I just never posted it. We all seem to forget something every once in a while, but I can tell you those scoops really suck trying to use digging dirt. Thanks for bringing us all out on your awesome gold adventure.

Maybe there is a place on the first bottom above the channel where tiny gold has accumulated during flash floods over the years. A place where the alluvial topsoil has caught gold, like moss can along a creek.

Heh out of all the smooth water heads I think the 10 inch is the best in my opinion after running and out on the river with a 2200 pump it does very well with classified quarter inch half inch. It has a little bit of a rough time, but it’s also meant for the final cleanup too nice video Jason you have a good one. Hopefully we all find lots of gold in 2025. Out for now.😆😆⛏️⛏️⛏️⛏️⛏️⛏️⛏️⛏️

Flour Gold Wizard, looks like the 10 inch sluice with your "saw tooth" mat, (or "deep V mat" we call it in Colorado) it caught it's share. Since it's wider, it spreads out and doesn't lode up. It's my favorite for flour gold. The other mats are for faster stream and smaller pickers like in Virginia, around DC.
