Including the recent Vintage Collection Revenge of the Sith model , these are all the Obi Wan Kenobi Jedi Starfighters that I own!
Without question one of my favourite vehicles (both designs) in the saga including the original trilogy. Mr Ewan McGregor is often quoted as saying how proud he is to be able to legitimately claimed to have owned and used a lightsaber. Frankly, I'd be as proud to own these ships! The cool think about that bigger episode 2 star fighter is, there is a little peg hole on the left wing by R4, and that peg hole is for the the dish accessory that came with that pilot soft goods Obi. So you could reenact Kenobi reporting to the council from Kamino

I've managed to get Obi Wans blue and white Jedi starfighter. £10!!! Anakins yellow and grey Jedi starfighter £10!!! Arc 170 rots version £15!!! And a blue triangular separatist droid vehicle £10!!! £45 all in for all 4 vehicles. Didn't even know that there was an episode 3 blue and white Jedi starfighter!! Great video👍

Just so you know (and to give you an inside scoop on how I'm managing them backstage) I've got 5 in rotation for the Quick-Shot series... plus a further 4 more (or maybe 5) I'm introducing for any other video. I have an R2 from Jabba's sail barge and put it in R4's spot (middle leg goes in). it sorta works but sticks out slightly more than the r4 that comes with the Jedi star fighter from ROTS

There's a little hole behind the astromecho on the AOTC version of the jedi starfighter in wich you can fit the little antenna that came with the figure you have inside the cockpit to recreate that scene on the movie when he tries to send a distress signal,

Coz I do keep all loose accessories (albeit I kept any small loose accessories from any figure I bought over the years. They're in a few old VHS cases hahaha. I always thought R4 (in AOTC anyway) was a built in astromech, so just the head. Obviously coz they're robots they wouldn't get bored! But then we do see R2 get ejected from the second style Starfighter so obviously they can on that one. ☺

Hey, nice video, they all look good, favourite for me would be the middle one, just looks like a beefy fighter like in the movie, I believe they produced a separate hyper space ring for one of the fighters to fit into, not sure which one, thanks for sharing

There is a TRU exclusive version of the AOTC Obi-Wan fighter that came with a detachable hyperspace ring. It came out in 2007-2008 in the Legacy collection. Great vehicle and displays really well!

Now you need Obiwan's Jedi Starfighter that is blue and white that he flew before fighting General Grievous. I had it at one time but I sold it.

Hiya! Yes you're right! Haha. In fact I only found out about the blue one a few years ago! ☺ that's because you can barely tell in the movie that the colour changes! (Well I didn't anyway! ) Makes sense though considering his other got pretty badly banged up! 😂 I'd prefer that Sith Starfighter to be honest! 😉 That's badass! ! 😈👍👍

@@OnlyOneKenobi Yeah the Sith Starfighter is my favorite also. Anakin had a Green Jedi Starfighter on Mustafar in Episode 3 and a lot of people didn't notice the color change on it either. It was later repainted and became the Sith Starfighter. There is actually a 3.75" Scale Anakin's green Jedi Starfighter but it has become rare and hard to find.

Yoda also had a very small ship so, that smaller starfighter could be for padawans like young Obi Wan. Perhaps the Jedi believed in flying ships that were proportional to their bodies. Great review BTW.

Great ships. I was never a big fan because they appeared to have no room for anyone except the pilot. So when Kenobi was asked to retrieve Fett, where was he gonna put him?

I wish they'd make an updated Jedi Starfighter, I got a few of these myself but it feels like it's too large scale wise ? Also hate the droid hole thing... Don't think normal droids fit, or they stuck up stupidly . I don't think the ships in the prequels make sense with droid capacity, I'm sure I've seen a pic from them cross section books that suggests the droids head comes off like a giraffe inside the ship ? Weird. I got the newer delta? Ship too... Where the droid is in the middle of the ship, that's brilliant, the end of the ship detaches and forms a droid driven ship.

I talk about head coming off Droid in my recent review of naboo Starfighter.. particularly my movie heroes video on xmas day. They defo rectified the head off argument with their design. R2 sits sideways on which makes sense 👍🏻👍🏻

IMO the prequels and KOTOR/SWOTOR era had the best vehicles. I always wanted own toy ships from the Prequels/Clone Wars and I missed out as a kid. The only Star Wars vehicles I currently own are the 30th Tie Fighter (with no pilot) and the Rogue One AT-ACT. My Star Wars collection is fairly small and I collect many other things. Also I had a friend who owned the ROTS star fighters of Obi Wan and Darth Vader. I had memories playing them when I came over. Also I found what appears to be the AOTC Obi Wan starfighter on ebay that comes with an Obi Wan figure. Its brand new and affordable. Do you know anything about that release? From what I can tell it looks identical to the regular release at the time, but that included figure saved me money!

I agree...that era DID have incredible vehicles! 👌🏼😉 I have the maroon Obi Wan ROTS straighter and recently got the black Vader Sith starfighter! (Very expanded universe) Now you said you have the Vader one... you mean the black or did you mean the Anakin yellow?....

Great comparison video mate! The Obi-Wan series had its flaws but it did make me appreciate Obi-Wan more and now I'm thinking about getting the TVC jedi starfighter. Was the dropship that Kenobi used to fly to Tatooine after besting Vader the same ship he used to visit Leia at the end of episode 6? Do you know the name of this ship or ships? Would be great if they were released in TVC!
