Once again a nice show of blooms and the anticipation of how the rest will progress.

Been gone a bit so catching up. Really like that you expanded what’s in bloom to include spikes a buds . That helps me a lot to see where my orchids are. You saying it took Hannah’s restrepias 3 years to recover gave me hope and calm to the ones I have in recovery a long time.

Hope you get well soon. I do enjoy the progress orchids videos. I can see how specific orchids react to the changing seasons. I’m delighted you are continuing with these videos.

Lots of nice blooms to look at and the plants themselves are definitely looking healthier 👍

There are still a few that probably won't make it through the Winter, but most are doing ok now.

Plants and flowers are beautiful! Do you think the lights have made a significant difference? Perhaps a topic for a video could be growing under lights?
@RogersOrchidsGardenandBonsai11 ай бұрын
I have no real way of telling if the lights are making any difference.

Hi Roger, perhaps splitting and repotting would help with that plant with all the growth and no flowers. Might help get more light into the plant and help initiate flowering. At the right time of course.

That was done earlier this year when it was taken off it's mount.

Your Cymbidiums look really stunning! Thrilled to see how the flower spike on the virus-infected one is going to do. My medium-sized Cymbidium, which is in bud now, for the first time in my care, didn't look impressive for a long period of time, suddenly pushed out two more spikes to 5 total. I'm still not used to see pseudobulbs forming only after spikes have reached a decent length (my plant behaves this way). Is it typical for Cymbidiums or a peculiarity of the hybrid I have got?

Some produce spikes early and some wait until bulbs are fully mature.
