I read The Hobbit, and I think I wanted to like it more than I actually did. When you talk about tangents, I totally get it. I just kept thinking, "will they ever stop singing??" lol

This is the perfect time to finish the ember in the ashes series cuz her new book releasing on October 1 takes place in the same world and might have some cameos of the old characters!! Although, I will say torch against the night is the weakest book in the series ❤

Oh I had no idea about the new book! Maybe I’ll add the series to my summer tbr then 🤔 I would like to finish it sometime this year. Glad to know TATN is the weakest. I was so disappointed with it 😭 thanks for letting me know!

it is a lot of fun, Im really enjoying it :) It was one of my bookish goals for this year to finish series,.. next on the list is the Long Earth series by Stephen Baxter and Terry Pratchett

We have local used bookstores we like to sell stuff to! And if not there are a lot of cute free libraries around where we can leave stuff 📚

I DNFed the Caraval series. I loved the first book but after that I just wasn’t into it.
