If the promises of developers of private humanoid robots become true, it will be difficoult for 1X to not be forgotten. The tricky thing is that it could all be pre-programmed and trained sequence making all robots do all these exact moves. Then there is no AI or neural networks involved. Could you show something proving that it’s not? Like picking up a ball after bouncing or interacting with an animal. That would be more impressive and real.

Even just picking up the blocks would require a lot of interactivity, especially the tetris shaped one. They'll fall in a diff position every time. Anyway, I'm pretty sure they have info online and research papers and such. The whole point of the company is for it not to be hard-coded. It won't do them any favors to do a fake demo when they want to be able to sell the stuff soon.
