Quick correction. Tesla's FSD was not require hands on steering wheel and also checks for eyes. Should you seem to be not paying attention to the road the FSD will notify you and in some cases ask that you apply turning pressure to the wheel to confirm. I am considering both trucks currently. Leaning towards the EV Denali but would require confirmation that the supercharger network is accessible. Great review, great vehicle. Congrats on your purchase, I may be joining you soon.

Thanks for the correction. When I searched, there were some people complaining about how it will be possible to be FSD when you have to keep touching the steering every once in a while. Got it. GM has access to the Supercharger network now. I can even see them in GMC app. All i have to do is just to buy a converter for the charge head. 👍

@@ozancakmaknewyork FSD gets updates every month and a half or so. I would take those posts with a grain of salt just because there is no way to know what version they are running on vs the time they post their complaint. It also depends if they have licensed FSD or they are using just Autopilot. In AutoPilot (compares more directly to SuperCruise feature wise) that is a thing, but if they paid for FSD that issue does not exist. I have a test drive coming up so looking forward to it. Glad to hear that the SuperChargers are accessible. Did the deal share if they are going to build in the NACS port on the 2025 models or will adapters always have to be used?

Wow. That center console area is super slick. Wish they did that for the new 2025 Yukons. I like all the sliding parts.

Does the side camera turn on the display when you activate the turn signal?

Unfortunately, it doesn’t. GM’s software in their vehicles aren’t the best.

huge mistake to not separate the body panels in the bed. This would make this a repair nightmare. Honda learned from their gen 1 to gen 2 ridgeline to fix this, GMC will likely do the same in the future

@nalong55 You are offering pure speculation about the design decisions without any proof on the degree of difficulty to repair. I own the Silverado version of this truck and I do not see what you are concerned about.

The body, very much like the Chevy Avalanche, which was built on the Suburban, XL platform, if it was a seperate box you wouldn't have the midgate capability which if you ever owned an Avalanche you do appreciate.

Also, does it have phone as key? Meaning no key for needed for entry and to drive?

Not yet but i read somewhere in the manual that will be available in some time in the future that it will be available to unlock and drive with the GMC app instead of physical keys.
