I just got to test ride one of these on a Dumont. Awesome trike. The full suspension is like riding in your car comfortable. The Bosch motor is crazy simple, two revolutions and I was rolling 15mph, and pulling 20mph with little effort. Easier than riding my Trek 5200. With the motor off it wasn’t any harder than riding my bike. Even up hill it was a breeze. With the motor on, hills are nonexistent. Can’t wait for the shop to get one I can buy.

Kate - Great, fun videos as always! if I pass thru (from Arizona) and drop by Utah Trikes, would the team be able to install a pedal-assist motor on a Catrike Trail I purchased this past October 2022? The Bosch looks great but losing the 3 front chainrings & gearing I have and not getting the 11 gear cassette would be a drag. The Rouloff (sp?) hub would be the next step for the future.. Also the video (and pricing?) was from July 2020 - is the pricing close to the $2,750 mentioned in the video?

Just a thought.

FYI... Recently ran across you channel and I'm a noob... Building a stealth camper / toy hauler and was thinking an electric quad would be a good addition to get around with rather than my motorcycle, since I'm installing a 3,600 watt solar array on top of my stealth camper. (It's a 26' box truck.) So after seeing some of the stuff you have built, I went over to your site and tried finding what you had shown, or for that matter trying to build one from the site from what I saw in the video... So I could get an idea on what it was going to fully cost... And once there, I had no clue on what was what and why would I want one thing over another... Thought the Hot Rod quad looked cool, but couldn't find it on the site... So I decided on seeing what it would cost for something else... After googling things like the front / rear gearing, idler kits, different light options, etc... And then I noticed... Bafang 850C Color display with selector switch $56.00 Bafang 850C Color display with selector switch $71.00 Then I finally clicked on the "details" link... Which should be more clearly marked, I assumed it was a site error at first or a weird running total, because I wasn't at a full screen, I was at a tablet sized screen on my desktop. I had 3 other windows open. Your site, KZbin with your video and google to look things up. Then I saw... Color options with missing swatch colors. Discontinued / out indefinitely / very limited items listed. (You need inventory integration on the site. Customers don't like things to be dangled in front of their face and then be told you can't have that, or they order it and get a call... "well, we don't have any more" or "they are back ordered, and it will be weeks before we can get any more") Items missing pics. Items with no pics. (One described as "fat, but not too fat" Wow.. how descriptive... that tells me a lot... Since "fat" is in the eye of the beholder... ;) If you catch my drift...) At that point my brain was fried and my eyes were glazed over... And I gave up... for now... I design eCommerce sites for a living... Been doing it for going on 21 years... But I have been "playing" with computers since 1974... Your site needs some serious work... Dump Cold Fusion... It used to be a good platform until Allaire was bought out by Macromedia (made it worse) then Adobe bought out Macromedia and then it got really bad. Last time I used Cold Fusion was for a shopping site for one of the top three search engines back in 2000. Then in 2002 when they changed the servers and coding to JRE, I dumped it for PHP and recoded the whole shopping cart site from scratch to match. And get rid of Perl... too slow... Probably okay for your site, but get rid of it anyway... And no... I'm not available... I'm semi retired...
