@@ThaTurdBurglar I think it is better than Sophia, but different. Trem with a lock nut don’t have the tone of a vintage trem. Vega has developed a trem that clears the standard cavity allowing impressive pull ups.

I got to say I've been listening to Frank since I was 5 years old my older brother who's 12 years older than me let me listen to we're only in it for the money. I was hooked from that point on I knew every lyric. I bought every album of Frank's from that point on I loved hot rats, zootolores ,sheik yo booty, Joe's Garage one two and three. When he passed away I was so f****** heartbroken. later dweezel did something that I never thought would ever happen Zappa Plays Zappa.... I was a bit skeptical at first then I went to see Zappa Plays Zappa, the band was phenomenal and to my surprise dweezel was a master at guitar actually better than Frank in my opinion. I put DZ in the top 20... In the '80s I became friends with Aldo Nova he was at my house on Christmas Day 1985 and he went and played My Guitar which I thought was a piece of s*** Kramer but when he played the guitar the f****** guitar was amazing sounding so it wasn't the guitar it was who was playing the guitar. Yes I suck till this day he tells me LOL.... It's great to see DZ getting a guitar endorsement....hope you sell many.

SHABAT, can you explain more what that phasing octavia how the middle pickup + neck pickup are wired or does it also use Resistor/Capacitors networks with the pickup wiring? I know yngwie malmsteen puts the neck pickup + bridge pickup out of phase to get an octavia tone.

What is a teacup push-pull pot? Google can't find it. How is the guitar wired? Really cool sounds, and great playing, as always! Love the look and features :)

Any push/pull pot will do the same job. CTS, Bourns are good brands. Then it's wired to go out of phase when the pot is pulled up. It's not a difficult wiring set up to do. It does require a pickup with 2 leads and a ground wire. Again, it's not hard to add a ground wire to a pickup. I wired my tele up with two push/pull pots. One puts the guitar out of phase when in the middle position, and the other puts the pickups in series instead of parallel. Which gives it a volume boost, kinda like a humbucker. You can find diagrams online for all this stuff.

Calling it a Teacup is just referring to the Hofner style “teacup” knob they used. Ronin guitars also used them and since Dweezil has and plays a Ronin Mirari, use of that knob was likely his choice.
