Wow! That's a lot of information in one shot. Plus the fly catching and lighting stuff. I'm going to have to watch it again. Seems like a super way to go for an e-trike. Why do your videos always make me aware of how small my bank account balance really is? :-)

Electric assist and a lower-priced package are a strong draw for seniors. Utah Trikes seems to be doing a good job with models for each consumer group.

I had a fat tire trike with a Bafang 500 watt hub motor. 500 watts is barely adequate for bicycles, but a waste on anything slightly heavier. The 500 watt motor did not help me at all going up a steep grade street when I really needed the assist. 1,000 watt minimum, 1,500 watt preferred. Also get a 20ah battery or don't bother.
@robertpeck8245

I agree with Calvin. The 500watt was not enough snuff to get up a hill. I eventually switched to a 750 on my next one. All the difference in the world in The upgrade was a no brained. Keep up the great job…UT! Bob Peck

Hubmotor was a great thing before middrive. Not so much these days Especially with a heavier bike or trike with fat tires . And not as easy to change tube or tire . If you have steep hills to climb , the hubmotor will be working very hard . 12 years ago I would have been excited . 🤔😉

I wish I could have one of those, but Im homeless and disabled and could never in my life afford one of those its just simply way out of my reach, my Idea for one of those was to have a diamond plate cargo box replace the book rack holding the battery pack, have it so the top of lid opens in the center to each side and a pop up hammock tent folds out.I could sleep in there, underneath in the box can be on the back side the charger and battery and an inverter as you could put solor panels on the lid and charge batteries at the same time , acsess to batery can be by a door hatch on the sides of the box, 2 acsess doors on each side, on back of the box I would make a split door acsess and a flat shelf would roll out and I would have built in it 2 magnetic induction hot plate to cook on and a instant heat water hose for washing dishes that you can put in a water bottle out side on the ground, I could even use it as a shower, I cant ride a normal bike anymore, I have a spine injery and its painfull to ride a normal bike, Ive ridden bikes over the Canadian Rockies 3 times and done Vancouver island and incuding the Mallihat ,I have video of that one on my youtube channle right that one was my very last ride i was injured 2 days after that and i became disabled life has gone down hill ever since, but Im stronge willed and try to do what i can, if you guys let me buy the bike in parts each month a difrent part I could afford to buy the bike that way and I could build the bike pices by piece ,like in that Johnny Cash song 1 piece at a time , any how I love your design

You could peek more interest if you offered a battery charger that was just one grade higher. A 6-hour charging time might turn more people off then if you could say that the charging time was three to 4 hours by simply using a 4 amp charger.

I’m frustrated. I weigh 330 lbs and ride a Greenspeed Magnum XL. A local dealer says that the Bafang Mid Drive motor has nylon gears that can fail over 250 lbs. Another dealer in WI, H S recommends the E B O 500 Watt Front Range 2.0 to keep my existing drivetrain. PLEASE make a video for heavy riders using my trike!

I had a problem with my Fat Tad burning up tires. The Camber was off. The toe-in/toe-out was way off. The bike shop called it SCRUBBING. You have to be sitting on the Trike while adjustments are being done . with the tie rod on the front.. next set 2500 plus miles. Bob Peck

No reason to buy this one over the 750w or 1000w mid drive option. The Bafang 750w mid drive (120-130 N.M.) of torque compared to the Bafang 500w hub (45 N.M.). The 750w mid drive option is a no brainer compare to this one. More range, more torque and cheaper. Sunseeker is not going to be happy with the comparison part of this video. 😂
