@@YourFordCentre no even with propper servicing like my van the belts packed up at 55000 miles and now it will cost me £1500-2000 to sort and i will have to do it again at same cost at 110000 miles after all the propper servicing, so stop trying to put the blame on your customers for your rubbish rngine design your fault full stop.never buy a wet belt vehicle again and any other ford that have a new design will not be on my list either dont buy new dont buy old as all shit.

The Grey 16inch aren’t standard on the limited. It’s an optional extra.

Is the digital rear view mirror not available on the new Custom? Was standard on Limited spec models on the outgoing Custom and it featured on some of the original promo material. Not seen any new ones with it.

It's no longer standard - AIUI, were only added in anticipation of EU laws that have yet to happen. Now a option with a hefty price tag; better to get an after market version IMO

@@jamesvolland4133 Ah I see, cheers. Suppose as well as saving money getting an aftermarket one it'd also be a bit neater - always thought the rear camera stuck at what seems a random position on the back door looked like an afterthought - don't think I've seen two in the same position!

It is not harder, but different; I test-drove one earlier this month, and the back door threw me; it's no longer a machinal handle, but instead is electric unluck and is a big button you squeeze. Easy once you get used to it; better for security apparently, and the back doors are certainly more solid.

The price increase from my 2020 is shocking and Ford and the other manufacturers have basically formed a cartel. Only drug dealers can afford these now, can’t see many painters and decorators being able to afford £45k for a custom, can you? And if they did buy one, the likes of these salesmen would be the first to complain when you get charged double next time you call out a tradesman. Can’t have it both ways.

No, I doubt it either, according to your logic of increased costs, everything would have increased just like the price of vans, appliances, kitchens, which is my business, holidays, flights, clothes, the list is endless. Why haven’t cars had the same increase? You should be facing racketeering charges.

They still have wet belts, but the service interval has been changed from 160,000 miles to 100,000 miles. You must make sure to service the vehicle as per standards and also use the recommended oil for the vehicle, as using the wrong type of oil could cause issues with belt degradation. Standard stuff that is optional....if tescos ad said 5 apples for a quid and at check out only 3 for a quid you wouldn't be happy. Check facts then film not other way round makes the dealership look silly...watch vid

I can't stand driving this van with all the ridiculous safety features. I have to keep turning it all off every single time I jump in 🙄 why isn't there a permanent fix to this? I don't need wrapping up in cotton wool! I just want to drive without "mother" breathing down my neck.

Why do ford lie about these wetbelts. They dont last more than 60,000miles i know i have one thats ery well maintained and full service history so no the welbelt engines are a load of rubbish and we all know it so stop pretending its the customers fault for poor maintenance admit it chain in oil works rubber in oil degrades and its a terrible idea go back to what the oldtimers used chain driven tried and tested

@@YourFordCentre wet belt fords should be crushed new and old, the belts break up and are really bad and will cost £1500 at least to fix every 55000 miles i know i have one thats also got full service history so you cant even throw that card at me. Propper service you just cant admit you built a shit engine and if you do join with vw for the next van then only vw engine will do.
