I have had the opportunity to attend The Family Pig Pt 1 (as they call it now :) ) and highly recommend any course taught by Brandon! The hands-on experience of raising and butchering your own pig is empowering and educational. You learn to break down the animal to suit your culinary preferences, fostering a deeper connection to your food. Plus, the sense of community and culinary creativity is unmatched. If you’re into sustainable living or culinary arts, the time spent on-site is phenomenal. I have no doubts that the Family Pig Pt. 2 will be just as incredible. Thank you Brandon & Family for your continued efforts!

Some day soon I really hope to follow in your steps. To a Germanic pagan, you live a very inspiring life and I wanted to relay my respect for your knowledge, your family, and this channel to you. From a father of very young boys, may your lives continue to be blessed sir!

@TheFarmsteadMeatsmith I've also become a big admirer of William Cobbett and his political ideology. Very much appreciate you bringing him to attention.

I STILL have "To harvest a pig nicely" downloaded and watch it occasionally. At some point, you're gonna have to do a follow-up with your kids as your farm hands.

An old timer in Arkansas told me that smoking a ham or shoulder if you don't remove the knuckle off the bone that it would spoil the ham or shoulder..
