Yes, im so excited for it. I did a test fit, but it didnt fit excatly how I planned, but it's going to be nice having an actual onboard charger.

@@CaseyReedFishing It never crossed my mind to install an onboard charger, intriguing. Currently my setup is a Victron Energy Blue Smart IP22 12-Volt 30 amp 120V, Single Output Battery Charger (Bluetooth). Both my battery banks (electronics and motor) have a SAE connector. The charger has a dual splitter SAE cable to charge both set of batteries at the same-time. Curious, I looked at the Minn Kota Precision and didn't see any way to monitor charging status outside of the led lights on the device. Will you be installing a bluetooth battery shunt? What amperage is your charger going to output?

@@jasonhayes2778 i ran two dakota lithium chargers inside the hull of the kayak all last year. Theyre not made for that, but it worked out well. It was time to get something made for the job.

Awesome. Glad it was helpful. They fit in that hatch easily. I wanted to just use two of the new 46 amp Dakota Lithium batteries, but they wouldnt fit.

Well done Casey! Any fear of water hitting that fuse block if the haul is compromised by a rock or stump? I started velcroing electronics as high as possible, "just in case"

Not really much concern for me. That location in the hull is raised some. Definitely not the lowest point. Not a bad idea to raise it up though. Thanks for the input and thanks for watching. Hope i get to catch up with you again thos upcoming year!

Casey, Thanks for the info. I have the same ap 136, and the carver covers worked great. I watch how you do things and do it to mine, if that fits what I think I can use. Also want to wish you a Great year fishing in 2023, Good Luck

Forgive my ignorance as I’m just really getting into “tricking out” my kayak (AP120) but what was the determining factor in running four batteries? I’m going to watch more of your videos because I’m not positive what all electronics you have on yours but I run my graph and livescope off one 30ah. Not trying to be negative, would just like to understand better. I love learning from guys that have your level of knowledge.

Yeah, a lot of power is needed, but i also usually have a goal to try to be able to run for two tournament days with my batteries. Incase I cant charge or something like that happens.

Nice video. I have 2x 30ah batteries in parallel that run all of my electronics needs. I didn't use a fuse block but I do have a breaker between my power distribution box and charger. One point that needs to be mentioned is the jumper cables need to be equal in length in order to keep the batteries equally balanced. I also use a Victron Energy Blue Smart IP22 12V 30a 120V to charge all of my batteries which include the the two mentioned above and the 100ah battery.
