‘All Of Me’ How To Improvise A Gypsy Jazz Solo 🎸🔥
In this video you're going to learn how to improvise a gypsy jazz solo on the jazz standard 'All of Me'.
To do that I'm going to teach you a solo that I wrote on 'All Of Me' that is packed full of juicy licks, arpeggios, phrases and cool quotes.
Improvising freely over a standard like 'All Of Me' can be challenging! There are lots of chords and they are moving quickly.
But to help you improve your soloing skills we're going to look at four bars of the sequence at a time and break down each lick and phrase so you absorb it deeper.
I'll show you the lick, explain where it's coming from, how it fits over the chord and why it works.
Phrase by phrase lick by lick.
This is a great way to absorb the ideas and start using them in your improvising toolbox.
