How does a person come up with the lick at 1:51. That's amazing. That's one of the most difficult runs I've ever saw anyone play.

It isn’t hard at all. He’s just sustaining picking on the top note and playing the bottom note chromatically descending. Its formulaically very basic and it’s also not hard to play. Doesn’t mean it doesn’t sound good!
