Yeah, the only transformations we actually saw “onscreen” were Charlotte, Hidgens, and Ted. Charlotte and Hidgens definitely died, but Ted? Eh, he was shot, but he seemed to be alive when MacNamara was giving him the blue goo.

Personally, I think Bill's is sadder over Ethan's. For a start, he got murdered by his own daughter. Even if it wasn't really her, it says in Not Your Seed 'I overtook her body'. Ethan, on the other hand, was murdered by some guys manipulated into going crazy for a doll, guys that _he_ did not know at all. And secondly, Ethan knew that Lex and Hannah still had a chance to make it to California safely; Bill died knowing that his daughter was already gone. But hey! Everyone has their own views on the matter!

In his final scene, Bill says he wants to be killed. The way it's staged, it seems clear that Bill sees that the possessed Alice is holding the shotgun. Then he lets her kill him. When it's basically the first and only time in the entire show that Bill gets what he wants, my heart shattered into a thousand pieces.

I’m a firm believer that the Hatchetfield series is the best that Starkid has to offer. I love both TGWDLM and Black Friday (I think they are both amazing) and I think that it has some of the best moments in starkid history (if that’s a thing haha). Don’t get me wrong, I love all the starkid shows, but I think the Hatchetfield series is the best!

I personally would put TTO and Starship above the Hatchetfield series, but my ranking of Starkid shows is literally 99.7 at worst and 99.8 at best (NOT above a 99.8 because there’s always room for improvement. Not everyone can be perfect like me.)

TW: BREIF SUICIDE MENTION I actually have a theory for Alice in Not Your Seed. We know it didn't take long for Bill and Paul to get to the choir room, since they took the squad car. We also hear Alice refer to herself AS Alice, but the alien also talks in the first person at different lines in the song. So, I theorize that Alice wasn't fully dead yet and is trying to talk to her dad in the only way she can anymore, breaking through the alien taking over her and singing to him. But she fails, and only helps the alien by making Bill feeling worse, almost leading him to suicide.
