None of them had a reason to question if she is infected. 3) When the chaos occurred and she fell down, a zombie climbed on her he smelled her and looked around but never bit her. 4) In the science lab the same mouse that bit patient zero climbs her foot but the mouse too never bit her. 5) She was never afraid of being near the turning characters be it I-sak or Nam Ra(when she climbed on her On-jo was ready to get bitten). 6) In a recent interview, Director Lee confirmed three different kinds of zombies- immortal, immune, and halfbies. So maybe we can see this in season 2....

That would hide the bandage anyway. 3) Multiple times in the show zombies have run to her to attack her. 4) She wasn't the only one in the science lab. Doesn't explain why none of the hamsters went to bite the other kid that was there. 5) That can be explained by her personality. 6) You clearly misunderstood what the director said. The director confirmed 2 types and we saw the 2 types. Regular zombies and the halfbie/hambie. The "3rd" type is speculated by the fans.

AND THERE WAS ONLY ONE HAMSTER IN THE LAB. The one in the first episode. 6) I'm sure to make a season 2 a success too director will surely show us this....

@@delancydevin363 1) isak never said she was bitten, she said she was scratched. and scratches do nothing in this show. 2) to me it seemed like that was for dramatic effect and cliffhanger’s sake. it’s happened to a lot of people where the zombie stops and like lets out a ‘roar’ or whatever and proceeds to bite, cheongsan saved her before this could happen. its just for dramatic effect yet people love to take it out of proportions. 4) that scene really wasn’t that dramatic💀 y’all are overdoing it, plus the other guy in the science lab was at risk of getting bitten too yet none of them did. also even if she was immune the hamster still would’ve bitten her, hamsters aren’t intelligent beings and she would’ve still gotten bitten just not turned since hamsters would not recognise those who are immune vs those who aren’t.

I just started watching this and I was so impressed at that very chaotic scene that was in the classroom or the cafeteria.... But they shot that scene in one take. Yes in one take. I didn't even see any cuts. That was so cool. I can't wait to watch episode 2 tonight.

Man I finished this series yesterday & believe me when I say it was hell of a ride. The only problem is with the ending for me, I have watched a lot K-dramas & so I'm used to rushed or bad endings I guess but the plot & suspense was good in it. I would love to watch ur reaction to another Korean series named "Sweet Home". The story, layers, characters & music everything is so good it broke multiple records internationally, u should definitely watch it

I'm also used to kdramas with dragged out parts and rushed endings now. I usually skip unnecessary scenes or just watch certain parts at 1.25x or 1.5x instead. For endings, I don't have high expectations anymore so i'm never really disappointed. I'm just here for the ride and twist and turns at this point.

I would recommend checking the incident of Sewol ferry disaster before going into this series. It’s the incident that happened 7 years ago in Korean, taking 300+ victims, with 250+ were high school students (also grade 11). The incident is still haunting Koreans till this day. I think the series literally reflects the disaster, its victims, and the blame upon the gorvernment. All of the symbols and events from the real incident will be shown during the next episodes, if you do have some knowledge about Sewol, you’ll feel much more impact from this series. I feel like it’s not just a horror series, it’s the mourning and crying of Koreans.

The camera continous take with no cutaway were amazing cos the whole crew would have to act especially in the wide shots. 1 mistake and its a reset. By setting up the Zombie in a school make it feels like a school shooting, where you don't know what's happening until chaos ensued.

Yes it was just a one take camera the director wanted to focus the real reactions of the students when they first saw the zombies. They did a lot of rehearsals tho but they did it for just one take and it ended up really great! The whole production is amusing. The thing about this series too is that the virus started at school so the adults thought the students are just making pranks when they said there are zombies. No one believed them at first.

Just did a marathon viewing. At first, I didn't like the series, but it got better and better. Let's just say there are a lot of issues, like the story, and the pacing, but as a whole, it was extremely enjoyable. There's a bit of meta when Train to Busan was mentioned (not a spoiler cuz it's in the trailer), and there's even some humor, which felt out of place at times. However, I ended up having some favorite characters, and actually want another season.

I’m actually like 4 episodes in into this show. Just started watching it yesterday. It seems pretty interesting although a few nitpicks of mine are that there are some scenes where the characters go super dumb to keep the plot moving. I have an issue with Korean zombie movies. Many think that they're the best at it which is true but because of their success on it, they will be making more of it, thus eventually being stereotyped for it when they make better movies/shows. I guess it cannot be controlled. At least I've enjoyed 20 years of Korean entertainment and it's inevitable that 20 years of great shows will come to end soon and from now, it'll be formulaic shows like this. In less than a year, we've had Alive, Happiness, this one and what other Korean zombie show did I forget?
