The Zombie actors in this show are legendary. The contortions, facial expressions and special effects are fantastic. The camera angles and one take shots are godlike too! This show man. The series has horrifying parts but at times it really shows how important friendship is, and how looking after one another will get you far. So goddamn good. Absolutely stellar show.

Korea knows how to pull of a zombie show/movie. This show has soo much heart and the subtle humor, it's just so much fun to watch. I binge watched it in one day. The ending of every episode left me asking for more. One of the best zombie shows I've watched in a while TBH This show reminds me of the early seasons of The Walking Dead.

Loving this series. I was frustrated with the kids at first but realizing how young and sheltered most of them are, their lives are basically family and school, it's not a huge stretch to imagine the children not being able to handle these situations the way most capable adults would. How would you even begin to comprehend the magnitude of just throwing your best friend out of the window? It seems like emotions play such an important part in the story and to the virus itself. There are many instances of people just freezing, which is a genuine human reaction sometimes. They do reference "Train to Busan" which means they know of zombies but like us, it's still just the concept of a movie in their world. This to them would be real life. The stakes of these life and death decisions would be hard for a 16-year-old to understand the ramifications of. They want to survive. Also, I think like Squid Game, there are some subtle variations in our understanding of Korean customs and behaviour. Swearing, cutting class, not getting good grades, class and position all are bigger issues and stressors to them it seems as they need to feel or be perfect for their parents. I don't think that translates as well here because we don't always push our kids to be perfect but to just get by and do well for themselves. Glad you're enjoying it as well!

Is it just me? I think for a brief moment I-sak’s eye went back to normal for a brief moment when she says “I’m not one of them”. Like for brief moment she calmed herself down slowing the transformation.

yes, I noticed that 2 in my fourth watch. When On Jo hugged I-Sak she gave her a sense of security slowing down the virus since we suspect that anger and fear are the primary trigger of the virus.

What gets me is how (especially here in America) we all THINK we know what to do in a case like this. From Train to Busan, WWZ, FTWD,TWD, etc, but trust in the fact that your brain is flooded with fear, adrenaline, information overload (too many choices of what to do), and the lack of rules of the Zombie rising (is it virus? airborne, mushrooms, evil spirits, bacteria, is everyone already infected or is it biting? ). Take into effect these are modern Korean high school students. Smart, resourceful and cultural/emotional people. Hell, it's COVID-19 in this series. Here we are divisive on what to do with COVID. WTF are people talking about that principal being a moron, when we can't even have a PTO meeting without death threats to the Education administrators and school staff? I beat someone my first zombie kill that it'd go down WORSE than this if it happened here in America. Oh no, zombies? Ha. Wear a mask? Ha. People can't turn into a zombie in under 5 minutes. It's just the flu. By the time government is alerted and mobilized - a great swath of our city population would have turned. Foreshadowing to Episodes 10 to 12.

The thing with the coldness and willingness to kill by the archer and the girl smoking in the bathroom is that they don’t know the people they’re killing. With the main student group, they’re actually the same. They mostly do not hesitate when hitting and trying to kill zombies that get in their way. When they don’t come near it’s mostly because they’re scared (they’re faced with much more zombies than the archers too) They only really hesitate when they’re faced with people they know. For example, their teacher - complicated by the fact that this person is someone who has authority over them and the first adult that had come to their group. And then their friends/classmates. So it’s much easier said than done especially when they’re still talking & recognizing you & begging for their life. They’re kids after all but even adults would have trouble with that. I know I would.

The universe of this drama is not the same as "Train to Busan",It came out as a movie at this Universe and the roles of the actors in this series are typical teenage students, not hollywood zombie action actor. So the reaction of the students in this series is realistic. They were taken aback by the sudden zombie apocalypse, and the accident hardened with a strong fear. Imagine these situations happening in real life. How well can you use the knowledge you have? And if you see someone turning into a zombie right in front of you, can you get close to that person? Also, if the person turning into a zombie is the closest person to you, can you kill it yourself? No matter how often you watch zombie movies and are a zombie fanatic, it is a completely different story for your body to react properly when the situation comes up. They are still panicking because they just experienced a zombie apocalypse. I also feel awkward in some scenes, but overall I understand their behavior. In such a situation, unintentionally, mistakes can occur. Disagreements with friends can lead to unnecessary problems. That's the reality. In a situation like this, it is a miracle if they solve the problem in an instant, without emotion.

Then you have to perform major mental gymnastics to work through it. Think of a cat. not a plot hole. some viruses work like that, like getting hiv blood in your mouth wont infect you unless you have a cut or sore in your mouth. a plot hole is an inconsistency and we have consistently seen people not get infected by getting blood in their mouths.

So, if the bad guy have a little blood in his mouth it can't survive the acidic nature in the stomach so he therefore might not be affected at all.😁😁👍👍 It is my theory if anyone got another theory then share👌👌

I don't think pH would be a suitable factor to make a virus of this caliber dormant, if that was the case, finding the antidote wouldn't have been a big deal. But even HIV affects you only after blood transfusion or intercourse. Studies related to virology is a barren land, I don't think even scientists no much about them since they are non living unless they enter a host.

The most interesting thing is that American friends always surprise me when they cry in surprise or excitement. Do you think NAM ONJO is infected or not? Because at the Cafeteria scene... the zombie came up to her, smelled her but did not bite her... If you notice the other zombies bite the non infected victims right away. In the Infirmary scene, the student zombie bit the nurse and you can see NAM ONJO started holding her arm but it didn't show if she was bitten or a scratch.. the professor said, the virus mutate and act differently in a host. You turn to mindless zombie right away, intelligent zombie, Half Zombie, Super Human/Zombie or a you won't be a zombie or half zombie in one or two years from now..
