One of the meanest things you can do when you are in multiplayer and you know somebody plays ghandi. Take Macedon. You completely cancel out the doubled war weariness in their unique ability and weariness them out.

We Greeks pronounce Basilikoi Paides as "vasilik _i_ p _e_ thes" (the "th" in the word "pethes" sounds exactly like in the word "the") - I wrote the letters where you're supposed to accent each one of the two words in italics. God, I just keep getting steamrolled. I'm trying to do Alexander on not just deity, but also marathon and I just can't seem to get any meaningful momentum in time. Progress takes so long that by the time I get anywhere, it's often too late.

I feel like marathon would aid Alexander as it helps preserve unit worth. And the eureka are so much more valuable as they save you alot of turns. Problem is, ai starts with 3 cities and 5 warriors. You kinda have to kill of those warriors early so you can expand, and yet you only have one yourself so kinda in a shitty situation.
