Good sale. That same rationale is why I’m quite bullish on SV as well. Even these earlier sets that may even up being middle of the road in terms of quality

Love Rudy. Started watching his videos 2 years ago. He’s why I got into sealed investing. All my swsh bb including evolving skies have an average of 100-120 because of him. He just makes sense. Have to have strong hands and hold for long. He said buy when no one else wants them and that’s exactly what I did. Now I’m up 20k 🙌
@PokeProfit7 ай бұрын
I agree. The dude is clearly intelligent, knows the market he’s in, and is serious when he says he will out-wait everyone. I don’t watch a ton of his Pokémon videos anymore because, in my opinion, he seems out of touch with what sets are actually the best, which I guess is understandable since his approach is just to buy every set and do well long term. That said, I still love his investing and more philosophical videos.

Yeah some of those investors like to talk in percentages (up 100%!!!!!!) But when were talking a $25 card go to a $50 card, that 100% increase doesnt hurt the wallet as much as say a $500 to $1,000 100% increase. Just funny word play i guess

True, if it were stocks it wouldn’t matter, but selling fees/shipping makes this a different game.

Not tryna trash on Danny Phantump at allllll, but I saw one of his videos and he was talking about %s and showed a card up like 732%!!!! …… it went from like .30 cents to $2 lol 😂! So numbers don’t always tell the true story

@@TheSnackAttackingSnorlax Doesn't he run a store? I doubt he was talking about investing, just selling at value maybe. He could maybe have hundreds or thousands of those cards in bulk, idk. Was it a playable card? If he sells it along with other items he's saving on fees and shipping and could get close to value. In 3s he's probably going to get $4 per set after everything, instead of $1 which is fine if it's just one of the many things he's got.

nothing goes straight up forever. corrections are healthy. I highly doubt pokemon is dead. The same ppl hating on SV, will be buying in a year or two when they go OOS and prices start rising. Love that book btw. I'm beginning to think with all this focus on sword and shield would it be the time to start getting early Scarlet & Violet. Even my local shop has obsidian flames at a decent price i know it gets hate for not being a "strong set" i would counter that with its a char set and until he is dethroned as most popular it makes it viable.
@PokeProfit7 ай бұрын
I definitely think it’s a good time to start to focus on SV, but personally, I won’t be touching Obsidian Flames anytime soon. I’m pretty bullish on PE/PR/TF though, especially at a low entry point.

Excellent video brother. Fortunately I'm up in SS and only in 151 for SV. Also its an huge point that if Pokemon cools off then a lot of content creators will jump ship to something else. Some of the biggest things (COD for example) have died and the creators just switch up. Pokemon is safe until atleast 151 cools off in 2025. That'll create news / FOMO. They need to do something awesome for 30th anniversary (2026) then I'm OUT 2027 or 2028. 🤫😂

It’ll definitely be interesting soon when Pokémon investing becomes less popular. I think it’s likely we will see a good 5-10 year window, if not longer before the next big thing in Pokémon, where people will be able to stock up on whatever they want, even good sets, incredibly cheap and cash in when the time comes.

Love your Pokemon stuff. But comparing countries that were at war for decades to our country doesn't seem logical. If you compare the life of Russians during that time to the average American's life now then yes it is way better, but there are still many people who don't have good lives, its 2024 The standard should go up. And id argue that the "socialism" that people want in the US is really just better welfare systems tbh. Anyways, good videos keep it up

The war was irrelevant in regards to how millions were treated. Imaging being sentenced to 10 years of hard labor because you were the first person to stop clapping after an 11 minute standing ovation for Stalin after a speech where you’d be fed salted fish to purposefully become dehydrated. I agree there are still lots of people who struggle, but let’s not pretend we’re in the same universe as we were 80-90 years ago, because we aren’t.

Even from an economic perspective, or really any perspective, once someone has a decent understanding of how life was from 1900-1950 in Russia, it’s essentially impossible to make the argument, honestly, that anyone has it worse now in the West than the average Russian did during that time.
