Quilge is the perfect embodiment of what being a Quincy truly is, even tho the fight was a bit one sided but he scared the shit out of me he uses nothing but basics. Majority of Quincy uses hax but didn't felt like they were a threat where as Quilge he is all about basics but he is the only one that made me shit my pants lol. His fight is one of my most anticipated fights

Quilge was like one of the first sternritter fights we see in this TYBW arc. He def gave Ichigo and company far more than what they can handle. After seeing Quilge, all the other guys were just hella hax in their own way.

Ah yes, I forgot the trivial characters, and about Ichigo, I didn't include him because he is not purely a Quincy (just inherited the blut vene?). Then, esbern and luiders, I think they were just arrancars forced to be Quincy's army.

Ah, there are different opinions. That's a little complicated. In the Bleach fandom, Giselle is written as a girl, while I remember the dialogue with yumichika which implies that Giselle is a boy. But, still not sure which one is correct.

It's great that at least some of them survived and are now living their lives in the human world, putting the war behind them. It's also great that Soken's ideas of peaceful coexistence and pacifism have apparently been rediscovered by these survivors, thus allowing them to settle quietly among humans and reconcile with the Shinigami. The postwar novels sure are enlightening.

@@queueburst9928 Giselle, Liotto and Bamietta run their own cafe. Plus Haschwald's lady friend led an unknown but significant number of other survivors mostly faceless foot soldiers to the real world. Also after the war Orihime went to Hueco Mundo and with some powerful Hollows by her side, convinced a number of Quincies to evacuate to the human world since Yhwach was dead and there'd be no point continuing the war.

@@Voyager-w2i There are two novels and several data books set after the war. They are 'Can't fear your own world' and 'We do knot always love you'. Bambietta's zombification is still present but under control, she's still has her mind, conscience and free will but has developed PTSD.

I honestly would not mind seeing a mini series that looks into the many nuances of Quincy society including the many families/factions both for and against Yhwach's game. Apparently many of those wiped out in the prior extermination attempts were reformers and pacifists. It would be interesting to also see the survivors in their new lives in the real world and the ideological compromises they've obviously had to make for peaceful safety among humans.

@@queueburst9928 Perhaps he gave them reason to live and fight in his own way. As Nodt had that situation. Given he saw them all as expendable and some turned on him in the end, his rule probably was very shaky and explains his quick to kill policy regarding internal strife.

If Kubo wasn't rushed to make the final chapter maybe there will be more thing can be added to quincies informations, society buildups, histories (besides Yhwach's legacy) and then with all that Uryu can be the center of all quincies as obe of the MC in the series who represented quincies. I mean even Orihime and Sado get their own spot among fullbringers as one of them, Ichigo, Rukia and Renji turn out to be represent of the Soul reapers on the gang so why not just added some to accompany Uryu as other representation of quincies on the Ichigang team?

So far I know, Giselle and liltotto are still alive, also Bambietta zombified by giselle. They appeared in the novel (after the war). Then, candice and najahkop become Mayuri's slaves. But, personally, I hope Bazz-b didn't die :(

Idk about the novel and all but I guess if they're alive after the war there then the wiki is wrong on that part. I'd love to see more with the Quincys. I think Giselle probably has the more interesting design to me (out of the ones still alive)

In my opinion, Ichigo is purely a shinigami, and he is half of Quincy because his mother inherited the blut vene. But in summary, Ichigo is a (human, shinigami, hollow, fullbringer, Quincy) 😅

@@Vandereich Well he doesnt need the Hogyoku to balance his powers because he already do it and know how to do it. Honestly I think he kind of has a ressurrection (Horn of Salvation), Bankai. Volstanding maybe never happen because Ichigo is not part of those Quincies who followed Yhwach, thus he never learnt how to do it. But I can imagine Uryu teaching him the Letz Stil. Would be dope but he might lose all his powers (maybe Final Getsuga Tensho was some kind of Letz Stil)
