the first whistle sounds like that of a very old ship, it transmits old stuff but it is extremely fascinating. This ship has always intrigued me, it often appeared as a cover in films based on the story of the titanic but that of course the titanic wasn't, I don't know why the authors of the films put it on the cover, it's not the titanic, it didn't look alike, a ship that he could perhaps remember the titanic it was aquitainia but she too was very different (with that strange navigation bridge)

I know this video is old now and you left the whistle community for awhile now but I always found it interesting how these ships (not even just ocean liners) and their whistles were so ridiculously loud that they sort of broke the sound barrier for the camera's back then and it was sometimes hard to pick up the sound because they were so loud and the camera couldn't pick up on it
