Thank youuuuuu!! 🎉 The first suggestion (button combo) worked great! Seems like all the apps have audio and video again. Just a quick follow up that the home screen after the buttons, for me, was more like 25 seconds before it rebooted. Then it rebooted the tv screen twice before fully loading the Roku Home Screen. Be patient and let it do its thing!

I have been having this issue at least a year. I have contacted ROKU support via chat and phone to no avail. The first time I was told to unplug the TV, take the batteries out of the remote, wait 5 minutes, and plug the TV back in. Yes, that helped....for a while. It's not easy for this ol' gal to move a piece of furniture every time I have to unplug the TV but it's what worked. It happens often...a couple of times a week. I tried pushing the reset button on the back of the TV, it would fix it right away but then a few hours or a day later I would again have the issue. Trying to chat with someone was useless. I have fixed it (at least for now...we'll see) by this first fix you shared. We'll see how long it lasts. This is ridiculous that this should be a constant and quite often issue. So, after all my rambling, thank you so much for your help. At least pushing buttons on the remote is much easier than unplugging the TV each time.

Everybody who has continued Roku audio issues --DO THIS--Don't let Roku be your home screen, Make your roku tv turn on to your antenna or cable when you turn your tv on, Don't make Roku be your turn on tv screen.I did this and had no more Roku audio issues.

Tried everything in this video along with resets, power cycling etc etc. Still no sound. This is a common problem with all Roku TVs. If it has not failed, I believe it will eventually. So many reports of it worked last night and then it didn't today and I did this and now its back, wtf. Why? There is an inherent problem with the TV in software or may be electrical. Best solution is get yourself small powered speaker and connect it to audio out of the TV and never fails.
