It's easy to find. All you have to do is find a bookshelf. If you find a blue book with 1 yellow band, that is the Water Bolt.

@@icoonigtoo oooh, so that's why I could not find it. I came back to terraria after 1.4 and was really confused not to find it near the entrance of the dungeon haha

Demon scythe is absolutely not the last pre-hardmode spellbook, you can easily get it within minutes on a small world if you’re lucky

"Spell books" are not a weapon type. Magic weapons are too varied to make categories of, and weapons are not judged by their sprites, they are judged by their function (all "spell books" are judged by their sprites, which doesn't make sense for a weapon type).

What would you suggest for magic weapons then? Just by magic weapons? Or anything more specific? For sorting purposes of course

@@maximumcards87 I think that just straight up listing them is better. Like I said, magic weapons are far too varied to make categories of, unlike other damage types.

Spell books are recognized as a distinct category of weapon on the official terraria wiki.
