Aint really that special. Balerion in this time period is smaller than Vhagar and only a bit bigger than Vermithor. The overall plot itself is boring because they destroy every army they face except the Dornish.

Circumstances (like being chained up) & lack of food (which he wouldn’t have had being a wild dragon) would have altered that. He’s free, hasn’t been tamed and chained. 90 years old and barely bigger than Syrax. That’s not right at all.

@@DeftPetal He is a dragon a little younger than Vermithor and there is the fact that he has never been chained or trapped in a small place, having freedom. In ASOIF, dragons never stop growing and therefore, the older they are, the larger they are. The series lacks a lot in the size of the dragons, perhaps due to the value of the CGI lol

I think Caraxes is slightly larger than Meleys - Meleys might be heavier, but Caraxes is very lean and long, should be around 50 - 55 meters in lenghts

I think Meleys was heavier but Caraxes longer. I wonder if Meleys age/anatomy would have made her the perfect counter to Vhagar 1v1. Meleys might have been able to do it and yet live.

the animators goofed on sheep stealers size as official size charts had him being around silver wings size so i think they made a animation error in s2 ep 8 which is why he looks smaller then he is supposed to be and they may change his size to match what he is supposed to be when we see him in s3 like they have with other dragons in the show.

because she's chained up for so long, and not ridden that much by Rhaenyra, a dragon that isn't free to roam and stretch it's wings, combined with being inactive is going to not grow that much. Look at dreamfyre, she's older than vermithor, but a lot smaller, and has spent decades in the dragonpit.

I think Sunfire Is even bigger than syrax in the series he had enough size to fight against meleys But was unexperienced also in the series seasmoke Is bigger than syrax aswell

Amazing video! However, you stated that Sunfyre was 21 meters/70 feet long in a previous video, and I personally think that is more accurate given his head size during his petting scene with Aegon at Dragonpit. Same with Caraxes and Meleys, who were said to be 130 and 165 feet long in a previous video. Great content anyway!

I can confirm all sizes except for Vhagar. Episode 4 provides excellent shot side by side with Meleys (when they are flying at each other), perhaps use that for an updated measuring.

Dreamfyre should be after Silverwing- She was born after Aegon, Rhaenys and Visenya conquered the 7 Kingdoms but before Aegon 1st death. You also left out Morghul and Skyros who will be featured on the show. Since you included the Cannibal and Balerion (both unseen and not likely to be shown) you could have also included Meraxes, Morning and Quicksilver (+ Danys Dragons) to do all known Targaryen dragons

last season mentioned the 3 wild dragons so maybe we get a greens version of the red sowing where aemond orders dragon seeds to try and bond with the 2 remaining unclaimed dragons (grey ghost and cannibal) and thats how we end up seeing him.

@@hannibalsmyth6779 if we see grey ghost it's most likely gonna be as a corpse after sunfyre/cannibal kills him as in the books the only major scenes grey ghosts has is of dragon seeds trying to claim him and the scene where his corpse is found and some people say sunfyre did it where as others say cannibal did it but it's never straight up confirmed, cannibal is also the most popular dragon during the dance daemons dragon carax bc of how unique his appearance is compared to other dragons just like carax along with how mysterious he is as his origins and age are unknown with small folk claiming he has been around since before the targs settled on dragonstone and other evidence that suggest cannibal may actually not be a valarian dragon but rather he is the last of a population of native westeroes dragons that have since died out with him being 1 of if not the last of his species which would explain his hostility towards the targs valarian dragons or he is a dragon from vishai as vishai is a continent with black soil/rocks and it's oceans,rivers,lakes and streams are emerald green just like cannibal whos a black/green dragon with emerald green eyes that spews emerald green fire so i do think we will see him atleast once in HoTD.

Its crazy that people complain about season 2. It was great. We dont need to see every single battle that happened in the book. There's already more than enough characters to keep track of. It's a TV show on a streaming service. It's not all about big battles and dragons fighting each other, and if you can't enjoy the dialog scenes... maybe you should go back to garbage walking dead, or whatever it is you watch

After Vhagar, Meylees, Ceraxes, And Vermithor are gone they don't really fear the dragons anymore because people thought you couldn't kill dragons yet when the biggest and most battle hardened ones died or like meylees head being paraded so did any of the Targaryens iron fist enforcement. The last dragon was a testament to that, being the size of a pony and bigger dragons like dreamfyre getting killed in the dragon pit but if you had a dragon like Vermithor or Vhagar at the dragon pit they would have killed all the rioters.

Relax, these sizes are the estimations, made by the author of the channel. They are more or less true but unless the vfx artists declare the exact size of the dragon, these numbers are approximate.

In ASOIAF, these are dragons. GRRM said he didn’t add the two extra arms because evolutionarily no vertebrate has 4 legs and 2 wings. ‘Wyverns’ do exist as a separate thing in ASOIAF though.
