Thanks for watching! This little dolly has proven to be useful multiple times already! Who caught my speaking error?? I sneak these little details in on purpose... I swear....

I'm building one similar currently for my Dad to be able to move a big ladder around his place. I'm using a 6x6 square tube 1/4" wall. I cut one side off the side with the seam. I'll have a video of it once the projects done. This is a great video ! I like the adjustable foot you made.

Awesome video, I made something similar myself several years ago. I used a hinge through the centre of the base so that the weight of the component gave the clamping pressure no matter the size.

I never saw one of these until a few minutes ago for moving structural beams and a similar build brought me here. Pretty basic stuff, and exactly what I need to move a 500lb i-beam that's on it's way for a home renovation

Hi Chris, You can soak zinc hardware in vinegar overnight or 2 nights in tough cases and that will remove the zinc coating. I didn't believe that it work myself until I tried it, but it does work great. No sense in taking any chances with your health. Thanks for the video! -mike

I have been mulling over a very similar dolly to move our stage plaftorms. They are made from 2x6 lumber with a full sheet of 22/32" plywood on top and just kill me every time I have to load them in or out of a show. My ideas were way over complicated. Yours will do the job I need. Thanks!

Nice! Love your concept! You gave me an idea for a similar thing I need to do, but in wood as I don't have a metal shop. Thanks!

I can't believe this. After moving a couple of 4 x 8 steel panels down to my basement completely by myself I have been wanting to build this exact thing. I think I almost died. The heaviest was almost 200lbs and I moved it with a plywood panel carry handle. Unless you are way stronger and younger, this is a bad idea. I think I even posted about it on my Instagram.

You should find someone that can foam fill your wheels. I made an all retain cart for a ceramic grill using those exact same wheels. They were constantly going flat. I had them foam filled and they work perfectly without ever having to worry about air. Could be good for those carts you make for the bakers.

Audio tip: use a high pass filter on your voice over tracks set to around 500Hz to cut out that hum from your computer. The quality of your narration will be much, much better.

Could you make a video on how to apply those all terrain tires to a mobile tool box? Becuase I have a mobile toolbox with my power tools, but it has little wheels, and on the job site or at a construction site there is gravel, ditches, mud, dirt, rocks, concrete, absolutely bad for them poor little wheels, so I want to apply heavy duty tires to my box to sustain all that!
