Races were fun, will upload video soon. That extra grill protection didn't do much good unfortunately. But I will be swapping out the front clip and reinforcing the front end even more for next year

Right on man! I just helped my 15 year old son with his 1984 IDI. We turned the pump up and took it drag racing. We had a blast. We named it "Strippin Gears" and put a stripper pole on the back of it and duck taped a blow up doll to it. It wasn't fast (21.4 secs in the 1/4), but it got all the looks. We almost took another 69. IDI at the track, but they had a turbo and got us about 25 yards before the finish. Keep up with the videos brother, they're great.

Lind racing is wild, much more action than most race tracks. Alot of contact bumping nudging spin outs etc. The combine derby is pretty neat too.

Glad to hear you have time to fix it, I need help with my 73 I bought a new glow plugs and they're all bad whats the chances of that I found that out after I install them and then took them out to bench test them because they wouldn't start I bought the autolights what's the odds that they're all bad out-of-the-box

NEVER BUY AUTOLITE GLOW PLUGS! Only use motorcraft zd9 glow plugs for your 7.3 idi. Be grateful the autolites were junk out of the box. Because had you installed them and used them for a while, they are notorious for the tips expanding and getting stuck in the engine. Then you are in a whole other world of issues. I'm thinking about putting a 7.3 IDI in my Mustang. How many wires does it take for the engine to run? Is it pretty simple to wire up?

How do you remove your front drive shaft without draining the transfer case

It has a bolt on Yoke!

The yoke doesn't slip out it is bolted in, some rigs it is splined to slip in and out for suspension travel.
