There is another cave you could build in in the desert area at 85 latitude and round bout 79 longitude people may know bout it but a thought a would mention it there are snakes nd bats that spawn in among other things but you clear them out it’s a decent size

I like the litttle ruins but in maps like lost island, there are so many castles and temples and they take up so much good areas

Great video I actually learned a lot other you tubers missed. Pandora is the best spot. I built there before the server shut down and it was incredible. The northern most island is pretty great too. A ton of room there.

One of the waterfalls at pandora has a cave behind it that isn't well known I always put turrets right behind the waterfall so they can't see your base without going into the falls I also make a decoy base on top to keep the main cave one secret

At the base spot at 20:00 are so much black pearls at the bottom of the water its so op and I love Pandora so much wow it's just great

Yeah they really made black pearls a lot easier to get on this map. The ponds infant of aberration gave are also full of them 👍pandora really is a stunning location!

I'm confused about cave-building. Is it only enabled on PvP servers? I am on a PvE official server, and I've tried to build in caves but it won't allow placement of anything, even foundations. This is disappointing, because I created a dwarf character and wanted to make a huge cave dwelling reminiscent of Ironforge from WoW.

I think on official servers if the cave has an artifact in it, you may not be able to build in it at all. But one of the smaller ones I think should still be ok. I could be wrong tho its been a bit sense I played on official

There is no collide on official so it won’t let you clip through any of the walls unlike most unofficial servers which allow you to build into the map

Yeah there was a whole lot. I used a therizeno and deforested the area until it was clear then used thatch foundations to keep it from coming back. Definitely worth the effort 👌
