I have the savage drive and I also have an EVH stealth 50. But the savage drive doesn't sound good through the stealth.... is there something I'm doing wrong? the savage drive sounds good through my fryette deliverance though

YASS FINALLY AN AMAZING AIRIS PEDAL REVIEW! 🔥
@chrismartin64183 жыл бұрын
Great review. Ordered one yesterday to run in front of my 6505+ head and 4x12. I'll report back how it works out. \m/
@chrismartin64183 жыл бұрын
@Joel Aguirre Man it makes for some intense cutting tones. I love the fact that I can dial in exactly what I want for each different guitar with different pickups. I can run the gain at 9-10 o’clock and get brutal death core tones all the way down to classic 80’s metal. Love this pedal and the tonal options it’s giving me. I do need to adjust my gate though. I don’t think it’s quite high enough from the factory so I’ll open it up this weekend and tweak it. The ideal also slays in front of the Blue Channel on my EVH 5150 iii 50w EL 34 head.

@Joel Aguirre My pleasure. I’ve also heard really good things about the MXR M77 Custom. Kyle Bull likes running them through 5150 type amps. I’m going to have to add one to the collection I think.

I’ve been using my MXR 77 in front of my pittbull 100 for a few years now. I just ordered the parallel overdrive to change my sound up a little bit. I’ll probably still keep the MXR on my pedal board.

I ended up getting rid of the 6505+ and replaced it with an EVH 5150 iii 50w EL34. Huge improvement in tone to me. I like to run the POD in front of the blue channel with low tuned guitars for some brutal tones. The MXR M77 lets me nail some great 80s metal tones on the blue channel as well.

Sorry for my ignorance but is this pedal outputting both clean and dirty channel at the same time? I'm guessing that's why it's called parallel either way that's a really good idea because people already record a dirty track and the DI track in and blend it in the studio to make everything sound tighter.
@babyyoda21904 жыл бұрын
I asked the same question for one of the guys above me if it can do that thats awesome

@@babyyoda2190 just FYI in case you didn't know the two notes preamp pedals can do that with the fusion button and it sounds f****** amazing.

Ordered. Major fail. 2 knob pots were scratchy as hell. The inner gate didn’t work to tame the buzzing. Much humming going on. Perhaps a bad pedal but waiting 2.5 weeks for a dud isn’t cool. Sent it back for a refund. I’ll stick with my Savage Drive.

@@MetalHeadProductions i just dont like my signal cut off. I dont need outrageous amounts of gain either. Most pedals by the time I get the sing its too much noise. Ive even got one of zacs old od1's and I set it like he does less I use it on little ss practice amps.ill use a gate for choppy rythym for modern day but I usually just mute.
@MetalHeadProductions4 жыл бұрын
@@hadleymanmusic right, so don't use any of the gain, dont crank the gain on your amp and and set the blend and volume where it works good for you. the gate wont stop noise from the amp just the pedal from adding noise is all.
