I have the N50-640-UR13 Part Number: DG.E30AA.004 - Can confirm the ASUS GeForce RTX 3070 Dual V2 8GB fits and runs. It takes up 3 slots so obviously it hangs over the other PCI Express slot, using stock 500w psu, needed a power splitter it was the one that @TNW1337 linked up top "PCI-e 6 Pin to Dual PCIe 8 Pin (6+2) Graphics Card PCI Express Power Adapter" but both of the ones linked would work. Yep can confirm I've installed the 4060ti MSI and it's tiny in comparison to the 3060. Fits liks a dream and doesn't drain too much power and gives a massive boost.

@@Trey-dg8yw if it has 3 fans it probably won't fit. You need a dual fan model and as far as we know all dual fan 4060 / 4060ti types will fit. 4060ti has worked a treat in mine with its low power draw and lower running temperature.

@@madnoah8587 Stock 500w psu, I just bought the gpu and nothing else. Just use the 6pin and the 2pin connectors to fill the 8pin on the gpu. I chose the 4060 (msi ventus base model) because it's very efficient (115w only) and it's nice for the stock weak 500w psu.

stumbles across your channel recently as looking at a refurbished N50-640 with 12400F and 3060. Looking to use it for sim racing and streaming... Do you think it would be able to handle it with some upgrades to RAM?

if you maxed it out yesm your want to max out the ram, ssd, cpu and gpu. also do a cooling upgrade on the cpu so you run cooler. I would look at doing a large SSD to have for backing video up or if you do video editing. most streams still have to video edit unless your not going to have a you tube following.

My biggest problem right now is that my GPU is bottle necked by my i5 10400f, it is usually maxed out at 100% if I’m playing a high quality game, I need to upgrade the CPU to something stronger, the problem is that the 3070 I installed is a big power eater and I don’t know if the system can power a higher end processor, is there anything I can do?

I have loved all of the videos on this. I am having an issue right now where I run Iracing primarily and I also stream that at least one night a week. This computer was great but as updates come and things improve on the software side for the game, I am finding that my computer is not at the bare minimum for the program to operate. The Graphix card is going to be upgraded for sure and thanks to your videos, I am sure the RTX 2080 TI which is recommended by Iracing will work well in this computer. My issue is going to be the processor. The system recommends a 8 Core CPU. Their recommendation is a I9-1080XE or I9-9900KS. I am having a hard time figuring out what CPU I am able to upgrade this computer to. Some help/a video on this type of upgrade would be huge. Thanks.

its on the list if its 2 fan design it will work. and it is an upgrade from the 1660. but its only worth doing if the price of the card is low enough because there are better options with similar price points

Hey man I got the N50-640-UR12 and I bought the 120mm fan that you installed on this desktop. I understand that mine may be different but I was unable to install the 120mm slim fan on the front of the PC. Is there another fan that should be installed at the front of the case?

Hi, I had the stock 500w PSU that came with the PC. I swapped out for a 850W Corsair. The only thing I found was the motherboard has a 6 pin ATX connector for power and had to get a 24 pin to 6 pin adapter which works fine. I have just upgraded my GPU to the RTX 3060 Eagle OC 12GB.

I put a 4070 in mine and it works. I slightly undervolted it to help the 500 watt power suply. Worked fine before undervolting though. I wouldn't put anything past the 4070 In it though

I have an acer nitro 50 12400f, 16gb ram (+8upgrade), gtx 1650. I just upgraded to the 4060 ventus dual fan with no issues, it works perfect out of the box!! No need to buy any cable or adapter, just use the 6+2 pin to fit the gpu's 8pin connector.

Sweet & nasty😂 you mention in one of your videos. you're always fixing grandmothers pc. Anyway you can show how to wipe a hard drive and reinstall windows on prebuilt gaming pc. Asus rog. If not do you have to flash the bios and download windows to usb flash drive. Or just make a usb windows device.
