I started driving JD M, Super C, JD G, JD 4020 that was 70 years ago and I still remember. How have Tractors changed. Duffy love your show.

love to see a 1000 hp electric tractor. reckon the batteries would last for about 20 minutes.
@Otherrandomguy422 ай бұрын
The first EV tractors will be no different than a train locomotive they will be diesel over electric because it's more efficient. That will allow you to keep going in the field but would also give you the option to be able to charge some small batteries when you're down at night. Then the battery technology will progress over the next 50 years to the point where it's going to work. Just like when tractors first started being designed they were nothing like a say the 9620R John Deere if today, they ran on steam 😂😂All the people hating on electric vehicles really need to research how a trains pulled tens of thousands of tons across the country. Electric motors are way more effective at producing torque than any fossil fuel powered engine was. That's why places like sawmills use electric motors to drive their equipment.

I wonder how much battery waste they have produced by the that time

At the 23 minute mark, I noticed my buddy Mark McCullough's Hendrickson . Mark is from Missouri and I know him through the truck hobby . Big tractors are awesome, but not practical in eastern NY because of smaller fields and too many stones .
