Hi Julie! Yes I remember you using world of curls oil sheen spray when you were relaxed. You are the reason I use that moisturizer. It's amazing. It makes my hair stay moisturized for at least 4 days.

Yesss…it’s one of the BEST moisturisers, so I had to go back 😄👌🏾 Happy to hear you found it through me and that it’s been a staple product for you over the years! 🙏🏾

I love Kerastase products. I have type 4C hair and I use to have scalp issues and every time I would wash my hair I would lose large clumps of hair. I could never understand why. I could wash my hair, style and apply oil to my scalp,; but then the following day my scalp would be flaky and when it would be time to wash my hair it would like like I had cradle cap. Would happen to me all the time, from when I was a kid till I finally started using the Kerastase products last year when I turned 24. I started first with their serums: genesis and symbios. My scalp started changing after the first couple uses. I finished both bottles and bought new ones. That's when I decided to try their shampoos that went with the serums, and I have not turned back. I lose less hair and my scalp health is so much better. I haven't tried any thing else from them, but they genesis and symbios shampoo and serums will defiantly stay a staple in my hair care.

I also bought a whole line and variety of the Miele products some months ago and I wish I didn't invest so much in them as a first. But they were having a big sale in the US. They are harsh and not sulphate and paraben free as the bottles state. Only the gel has given me some justice.

I do remember you using the oil sheen spray. In fact, I still have some from way back. In fact, the colour has changed in the bottle, just to show how long I've been buying all you recommend😜😜. I'm not sure I loved it then but it was handy. I might give it a try again.

Do you recommend different products and regimen per season. The reason I ask because I have no staples products. But I know products that work for me depending on the season/weather.
@HealthyAfroHair3 жыл бұрын
No, not really! My routine and products are pretty much the same all year round, so I’d just say to do whatever works for you.

Thanks for sharing! I'm vegan so it's really tricky finding vegan/cruelty free products for Black afro hair. Also, coconut oil is awful for my hair so it's even more challenging. I can use Palmers, Garnier, Shea Moisture but I try to keep it simple so olive oil, shea butter, gel, water but I might try some products you suggested as my hair loses moisture quickly!

That mielle hydrating & detangling shampoo strips my hair and makes it dry. It's almost as if it is not sulfate free even though the bottle says it is. It's interesting how a product works or doesn't work for different people
@HealthyAfroHair3 жыл бұрын
Oh…really?! Yeah that’s the thing, one product will never serve everyone’s hair needs and will react completely differently.
@chiedzamutiro31823 жыл бұрын
Sometimes that’s required stripping your hair. Use it once every 2 months. Follow up with a nourishing shampoo and your best deep conditioner. On the other washdays you can use the moisturising shampoos that don’t strip your hair.

hello, nice hair you've got. Are these products friendly for a 4c low porosity natural hair.
@HealthyAfroHair3 жыл бұрын
Hey, thank you! The shampoos, conditioners and moisturising products are ok to use, but the gels & twisting products have a thick consistency which may be a problem for some people with low porosity hair, so it depends on whether you like that or not.
@enaid68383 жыл бұрын
Hey what is your hair porosity ? Mine is high. So I reckon I should too using it and rinse with cold water. Still struggling with a lot of breakage with my hair even being naturel. Am getting desperate. Would love to have a chat with you

Hello.Do you think using products from different line affects your hair?
@HealthyAfroHair3 жыл бұрын
Hey, no it doesn’t! You can use products from any line, the main thing is that the products work well with your hair and that you’re using them effectively.

Thanks for another great video! I’m always so inspired by them. My question is about the ORS conditioner. Do you use a separate deep conditioner or is the ORS the only one? I’ve always thought of it as just a protein conditioner. Second question is, can you do a video on your night time routine especially when wearing a puff style and was and go? Thanks very much xxx
@HealthyAfroHair3 жыл бұрын
Ahh…thank you! Happy to hear you’re inspired by them ☺️ No, I just use this conditioner for both protein & moisture since it contains both and it’s been working amazingly well on my hair for years. Btw, I already have a video on my night time routine when wearing a puff style here; kzbin.info/www/bejne/n6amkGl-gc1pnZo 💕
