Peace Lilys don't need the hormone to re flower it just needs to be healthy or happy I guess. Think they just give it that hormone to make it more appealing when selling it. And then it takes a while for it to re flower because it has to acclimate to your house and conditions.

Congrats your piece lily is flowering :). They don’t need a special hormone my moms flowers all the time and she doesn’t not even fertilice it

I have the same philosophy with my plant care: idk how to tell you to do it. Water when dry. Watch your plants and learn.
@tracyanne26173 жыл бұрын
I do the same. Admire them and give them a look over and get super happy to see new growth. Def a nice feeling. 🌿

Good Morning Tate! We are counting down the days til you return! (No pressure, haha) I was thinking a "1st reactions" video of your room when you get back. Kinda like the door opens and "DUN DUN DUN!!!" hahah, Miss ya!!

for the silver hero you can try to use bobby pins to pin down the stem to the soil, and it should root from the nodes. i havent tried this myself but it's a technique ive heard of to fill out a pot from longer vines

Spathaphylum flower when you change something in their enviroment: light, watering, temperature, or humidity. It can be a result of stress or environmental. I've been experimenting with taking the spaths (flower), once it's spent, and tapping the pollen on my plant or on other spathaphylums. I got some spaths from that as well!!! Peace lilies are really interesting.

You’re not alone on the peace lily thing I swear I heard that too and was so confused when mines flowered. Like others said it may just be that they’re pumped with hormones to have multiple flowers so once they arrive to stores people will buy.

It's so much easier now with direct sunlight in my windows. Starting this hobby in the autumn and dark winter was rough.

My variegated peace lily is flowering too at the minute. I‘ve watched a video on how you can pollinate the flower to get seeds. Maybe that could be interesting for yours too

Peace Lillies reflower easily if they get lots of bright bright light without long periods of harsh sun exposure and giving them lots of water. If you would up your plant to a bigger plastic pot you won't have to water it so much.

That silver hero and silver lady 😍 ugh so beautiful
@marcossanchez82273 жыл бұрын
Hi Tate, normally commercial growers use hormones to make them flower so they can be shipped to the stores so customers can buy them. But peace lilies, I have 2 variegated ones like yours and since they came home with me they haven’t stop flowering. It depends on the light you provide them and fertilizer . Your peace lily flowering is just a sign they are happy with your care !!

I love your videos a lot! This style is really cool, I always love seeing videos like this. And the thing you mentioned with the peace lilys must be wrong, because I got mine from my mother a year ago (it's not varigated, she just splitted hers and then gave me a the other half) an it gave me like 5 or 6 flowers during this year. I really love mine and a varigated peace lily would be so nice, but here in Germany it is still expensive...

Hey Tate ,yes they can flower,without any hormone or anything. my Alo Pink Dragon put 2 flowers at the same time...pfff I was disappointed and cut them anyways...I want leaves from her not flowers😉!And flowers exhaust the plant so... beautiful plants of yours!Magnifique 😊👍
@kjr199213 жыл бұрын
Typically growers will force flower peace Lily’s to look more mature than they actually are. They do reflower but usually not until they are much more mature
