Great reviews - but I wanted to mention that according to the rules of play I don't see a problem with playing tiles in a non-adjacent fashion as long as you keep to one line. Rule #2 under play states 'they do not have to touch each other.

I agree with pencilpauli: it (7Wonders) seems rather boring if the only interaction between you and other players is passing cards. I'd rather play DiXit I think. :)

Jess, you did a decent job for the first video. It does seem like you are reading. Just talk use the script as a travel brochure not your map. That will make it feel more real the editor can then take of the rest.

I'm really sorry to say that, but she makes 7 Wonders sound like it's a really boring game. I would definitely NOT pick it up after this review. But... yeah, pretty girl and nice 50s table! Seriously though, don't do as many transitions and don't make the camera move so much. It's distracting.

I agree. I just don't understand what is the goal with this format. It was clear she was reading and too many transitions. She seems nice but the delivery was bad. All of it sounded boring. Perhaps it's the content that's being presented that is the issue. I dont' see the value of having an extended segment going out and "telling how each game plays", all that reading lead to a monotonous tone. There is already plenty of videos presenting "how games play". It has no appeal. Instead she could just tell us why she likes each game or cover news, or any topic but game teaches, where she can be more spontaneous and natural.
