There's something deeply satisfying about watching mares with colts relaxed and grazing in lush green pasture. Reminds me of lazy sunny day in my youth, hanging out with them, having picnics and swimming in the waterhole.

Hi again AMRY What a terrific vid Amry! You did a wonderful job with perfect questions that covered the most on point and informative info. So nice to see and hear from Kendra again. She is just an outstanding breeding mgr and has quite the brainpower to retain the volume of info she deals with. 400 colts in the sale is just hard to comprehend! Her organization skills are stellar and her individual knowledge of all the studs and mares is just amazing. What a gal... Must say that quick peek at the end of the mares/babies speaks volumes of the lines and quality. Big rears and pretty heads yes Mamn always been in my eyes too. A lovely color variety out there like a candy store lol. Thinking it impossible if someone can't find their perfect colt on that ranch! Oh blessed girl you are Amry to be there once again. Those two sale dates every year just a must for you and truly the experience of a lifetime. Thx so much for sharing this special vid. Can't tell you how much this means to me to get to tag along with you this week. Enjoy every moment... Catcha next one!

Absolutely loved the video! I learned so much in this video, and what a joy to look at all the colts, fillies and of course the broodmares. Kendra is a natural in front of the camera and she is so knowledgeable about what she is discussing. I do believe horses should be as natural as possible and it will make them more hardy. Great job Amry!!!

Very informative! I know nothing about the horse world, really. Personally, if I were to buy a horse, I wouldn't care to have it permanently branded with numbers. Just my preference.
@northernlightz2959 Жыл бұрын
Me too! If your buying for beauty besides just parentage your not going to want to go here. My take on this is they breed for the beautiful heads etc, but then ruin it with these big numbers.
@jojos4x458 Жыл бұрын
@northernlightz2959 I agree. Quite a few breeders are now using microchipping.
@sharonmcdonald6299 Жыл бұрын
Thats because you don't understand the necessity of keeping track of large numbers of horses on 20,000 acres of land. They know what they are doing and the brands are historically a necessary part of stock horse breeding that true horsemen know the value of. Many a good horse has been saved at a slaughter barn because they had a brand on their butt. @@northernlightz2959
@sharonmcdonald6299 Жыл бұрын
How would a microchip help you quickly identify a horse out in a pasture? Remember they have over 200 broodmares, then they have babies on their sides for 4-6 months. @@jojos4x458
@sharonmcdonald6299 Жыл бұрын
they breed for everything, conformation, speed, soundness, which is why they have been in business and in demand for 70 years. The buyers are from all over the world searching for solid reliable ranching, working and show horses. @@northernlightz2959

Please delete the rescue advocates that pop on your interview. It's exasperating how they don't understand what they are viewing has nothing to do with the horses they save.
@cnahorses Жыл бұрын
Some people are uneducated... and don't care to learn. What they don't realize is any attention just brings us more views and overall more people that DO understand the importance of selective horse breeding. Thank you for sticking up for The Pitzer Ranch and other amazing breeding operations.
