Yes. OGs, Locals, & seniority help define the pecking order. There's a lot more to it but there is a bit of order. But with so many people surfing pipe now, I'm sure things get out of hand with that order for sure.

@@Devincoconuts thanks for the response. What is 'OG'? I'm familiar with pecking order in a lineup, but when crowds get to a critical mass of humanity, it must be nuts. Oh well, I don't have to worry about it.

@@billc7765 OG originally meant Original Gangster but is commonly used to mean 'veteran' or someone that has paid dues and has amassed a large level of respect.
