Diesel engines are set to the lowest compression and thus require ether to get them running. When you are making 3000hp+ there are bound to be some finicky times with them. What these people are doing with their pulling vehicles are simply amazing.

These trucks ( diesel) are crap. For what costs to build one, you would think they would make sure the damn things run better.

Go try it. They run water in them so thwy don't melt down so they have to get the conpression down so they don't split the block every time. Most of these guys forgotten more than you'll ever know.
