I have some questions about DNA damage on UVB and UVC radiation. 1st question: How much energy required for UVB and UVC to obtain SSB or DSB? 2nd question: How can we detect DNA DBS and SSB? In some journals, I have seen that they used 20 KJ/m2, 50 KJ/m2, 100 KJ/m2, and 200 KJ/m2 in the case of UVB. On the other hand, they used only 20-45 J/m2 for UVC to DNA damage. Can you please explain to me why?
