Welcome to the next installment of my Undertale "Gaster Eggs" videos! No, this video has nothing to do with Gaster. It's more of a branding thing at this point, so people know that it's a part of that same "series", and is done in the same comprehensive style.
This installment is mostly focused on things found in and directly around the town of Snowdin. I go outside of that slightly, and even had to exclude something rather large still. How is there possible so much stuff packed in this game!!?

It's established in both Undertale and Deltarune that monsters don't bleed, but humans do. However, in Deltarune Chapter 1 there is a bit at the chessboard where Lancer brings a bucket that he intends to fill with your blood. This implies that Darkners do bleed. Also, it's established that Lighters have a black and white profile in the dialogue boxes and Darkners have a colored profile in the dialogue boxes. Because Sans is a skeleton, his profile is a black background with a white skull. Therefore it is possible that his profile is in color, you just can't tell by looking at it. Perhaps a big reveal moment will show Sans with his yellow and blue eye in the profile of a dialogue box to prove that he is a Darkner. Also, Sans is the only character in Undertale that can avoid our attacks, while Darkners also can avoid attacks in Deltarune, such as when you warn them about Susie. Sans is also the only Undertale character that you defeat by making him tired, which is a common way to defeat Darkners in Deltarune. Finally, in his fight dialogue Sans says that he "gave up on trying to get back a long time ago" but then goes on to say that "getting to the surface" isn't that appealing anymore, either. Perhaps Sans means getting back to the Dark World, since he couldn't have meant getting back to the surface.

I think the broken game in the (Switch) Dog Shrine is actually just Undertale. I mean, there is another room in Snowdin that also hints at the Annoying Dog being Toby Fox, and the (PS) Dog Shrine holds the Annoying Dog.

It is pretty much confirmed the annoying dog represents Toby because when you kill/spare Toriel at the end of a hard mode run the annoying dog starts talking and completely breaks the 4th wall not to mention the fact that it knows you are playing hard mode and also says something in the lines of "Hard mode coming soon... maybe... eh don't count on it.

Actually the leading theory is that each item on the broken shrine is a callout to the fanbase. The fact that Toby did only that is great

Maybe "you see yourself reflected in the broken pieces of the game" is making fun of people who take 'death of the author' too far, and make up theories that are just their own headcanon, and no longer have much to do with the game. "It looks like he gave up his will to fight" probably references fans who think the pacifist run is the only valid way to play the game, and the "rock music" is presumably megalovania.

Two things of note that I don’t think were brought up in the video is that in the switch version there are 3 different outfits Mad Mew Mew can be in, I’m not sure what causes them or if its random or tied to a FUN value, but it is something that happens. If she is attacked and torn up the sprite will still show her in the same dress. Another thing of note that I think is really cool is that the hat Sans wears in the casino in the xbox version is actually a direct callback to one of his earlier designs where he was wearing the same hat, this design can be seen in the art book for the game.

I think the restaurant Sans is talking about at 15:04 is the one at the hotel after Hotland. They have a stage and sans is listed as one of their live comedy performers. And the "I'll treat you some time if you're in the area" is a reference to the time he takes you there and gives you all the speech about how maybe you don't need to leave and if he wanted to kill you you'd be "dead where you stand".

Mad dummy is already translucent and transspacial, why not transsexual? Even so, she's happy, so what gives. Edit: Actually, as an analogy for trans euphoria and transitioning it's pretty accurate, her character in the pc version was mad mainly because of her body and what it made her go through, the alphys repairing her kinda feels like transitioning and adjusting, and also seems to be really into the "this is the way I am and if that taints your view on the TV character then too fucking bad".

Yo, coming back to this video was a good idea after deltarune chapter 2 came out, with all the extra knowledge on the character this is a lot bigger context I feel, first would be the fact we learned that Noelle has a bigger sister presumably named December, and the timing, they're opening presents near christmas in December, and lastly, it was snowing like a blizzard, and noelle is heavily associated with ice Majic now, maybe that was all accidental but going back through and seeing all the other tiny connections i think its a bit to big to just overlook, thats all, hope y'all have a nice day 😁

A little overlooked, but in the Switch version, where the blueprints have red X's on them, the word "rejection" could also be read as "red X-tion". Good one, Toby. Good one...
