one annoying thing about neuvillette that is not commonly known and can ruin your rotation is orb absorption range his absorption range is an arc in front of him instead of his full aoe circle like most people assume, so if youre facing the wrong way when you do the quick hold tech, youre fucked. this doesnt happen that often but if you use jean cuz your camera gets turned 180 degrees and this can fuck you up if youre not used to it

I had r4 jade when I originally posted this which and at r4 it's only 2-3% behind I hit about 20k too when my teammates are not supporting him. It's really important that your teammates are giving your main DPS buffs, not just synergizing with his passive. Just an anemo character on VV does a lot to increase his dmg.

He isn’t locked to hyper team at all but the general distaste towards burn vape is because of Xiangling’s ridiculous ER requirements and the fact that you can’t freely kite around bc of the pyronado. Also ppl probably save Nahida for a dendro comp like hyperbloom. So it’s unsurprising that the hyper-Neuvi variations are more preferred.

good video overall you highlight how hp% loses value with pamber or hydro resonance, i probably would have highlighted opposite too, how furina c2/c3, kazuha, freedomsworn ca bonus, petra, signature ca bonus or its refines can also reduce value of hydro% goblet and how hp% can become better, (also neuvi c2 crit and signature crit reducing crit circlet value, altho i think its usually still better its very close, and much easier getting hp circlet than crit one with high stats) similarly for the furina vs other teammates section i would have highlighted how probably big part of the neuvi furina hype is people having c1/c2/c3 furina, or presence of people who do, which raises her value in the team a lot, and explains its popularity even if at c0 furina its less of a standout among his other teams

It's better to play Neuvilette and Furina together and keep Nahida for the other side in my opinion. Neuvilette and Furina have a very good synergy while Nahida is the premier dendro enabler and she has anti-synergy with anemo units that Neuvilette likes. She makes swirling hydro harder.

Neuvillette unlocks options for me. My navia and furina are joined at the hip because of xianyun. So having a character than can utilise nahida in some way is really great in my case.

I agree. Playing Furina and Neuvi is a lot easier/straightforward than building enough ER on Xiangling to burst every rotation without Bennett. That way, you can save Nahida for the myriad of dendro comps on the second half. Or Xiangling for one of the National team versions.

it depends on what you have; furina + xianyun basically enable anyone to dps, and furina is BiS for other teams without plunging too, so i can see wanting furina for the other team; there are definitely cases where she contributes to other teams a lot more than for neuvi teams mostly thanks to neuvi’s draconic stacks passive

As someone who got Neuvillette day 1 and put a significant amount of investment in him (C1R1 and maxing him out mostly) I've only now started using him more, so this guide is really helpful for team ideas. Unfortunately I refuse to play Xiangling and Zhongli is already reserved for my fragile helicopter boy (I always use him, unless I go against incredibly bad matchups for him). So I'll probably stick with Furina teams, especially with Baizhu who has been my favorite healer even before Furina.

Reminder for ppl to not be forced to pull for the weapon even if they dnt have the sacrificial jade for him my Neuvi is c1 and in furina/kazuha/Charolette team he hit 50k per charge atk with good investment in his Artifacts ( 97 Crit rate with marchusee buff / 200 CD ) and I complete the abyss easily with him according to the optimizer , his Signature will make me do 65k per charge , yet 50k is rly more than enough to make you comfortable to play with dmg wise

With Furina it’s probably Furina-Kazuha-Baizhu/Charlotte. From personal testing, my C1 Neuvi does around 90k ticks average. The Furina-Kazuha-Zhongli version gets around 70k per tick. Though, this is non-Petra Zhongli tbf. Without Furina, you have lots of similar options. Burn-vape and Kazuha-Zhongli-Fischl would give you more personal dmg from Neuvi. I figure classic hyperbloom would give similar team wide dmg. I’d personally check an optimiser.

Besides using two Skill casts for extra Droplets between Bursts, there is the third option of stealing Hydro-mode Traveler’s Droplets! You get the droplets from the Traveler’s hold-E (ie aiming mode). After the aimed Skill ends, make sure to switch the Traveler out instead of walking around, to make sure they won’t take back the droplets themself.

I'm curious what the best last char in vape is if you have c1 r1 because besides furina all the hydros kinda suck on that team so hydro res is kinda bad, zhong is still good but it feels like a waste when you don't need the shield. Oyro res onky gives atk and there aren't really any other good off field pyros anyway and dendro would have very few ootions overall that would make sense and dendro res in a vape team also feels kinda cope. Maybe its still wirth cause of the em.

you dont need to heal the other characters as neuv is enough to generate fanfare on his own

Why try to add 4 charged attack in a rotation when almost all the enemies die in 2 charged attacks. I don't even use his burst attack.

There's also one other big advantage of having his signature weapon instead of Jade. You don't need to fkn think about that annoying jade's passive
