Minor correction: The solo violinist at the theatre/opera house is actually the animated version of Ray Chen - world famous top tier violinist , who did all related solos of the score. Music direction still rests on Christian's shoulders - but the chunk of composing fell to the Riot's in house music team - for more info

I didnt finish the video yet, but I am pretty sure Caitlyn faked Jayce's signature to get Vi free based on his reaction later in the season. Maybe you will mention it. Edit: Also, I feel like a lot of people miss the fact that Jinx only shot Silco after she heard him cocking the gun. She was having a breakdown until the trigger sound made her go full defense for Vi.

18:05 just a note but Caitlyn didn’t get Jayce to sign the release form. Caitlyn is bluffing here and either forged a signature or it wasn’t signed. When Jayce is questioned later about the prisoner release by Marcus, he is covering for Caitlyn because he trusts her and doesn’t want her to get in trouble, especially after she got kicked off the enforcers for getting hurt because her mother is overprotective. Otherwise this video is really great and an excellent refresher of the salient points of the show before the second season.

I was going to say this too. And he did fire the gun (there was smoke coming out of it at the end). But I am not sure if he is the one that grazed Vi or if it was Jinx, because in the scene it looked liked Jinx fired indiscriminately (due to Silco firing at Vi).

I don't agree with this. Yes, Silko was trying to kill Vi, but Jinx shot him not because she wanted to defend Vi, but because she was under impression that Silko is about to betray her (she is still thinking he was gonna sell her out to the Jayce. So I think she shoot him in self defense. it doesn't feel like she was thinking about Vi at this point at all

1) 18:11 Jayce likely did not sign Vi's release form (also he wasn't head of council then; not until he ousted Donger). Caitlyn most likely just forged his signature using the staff package he gave her earlier when visiting her to offer a desk position. You can later see hints of this when Marcus asked Jayce about the fact that he ordered Cait to release Vi; you can see Jayce pause briefly as if taken by surprise before dismissing it, likely lying to cover her. Later again, when Vi visited Jayce at his forge, he threatened to toss her back in jail, because he did not actually authorize her release, meaning she shouldn't be out. 2) 20:14 Ray Chen was indeed the violinist portrayed during the theater scene, but he was only a featured artist in the show. He was featured in the last song along with Sting, and I believe some other background violin pieces. He was not the musical director. The closest to that would be Mako aka Alex Seaver of "Rise" fame, who's the executive music producer for Arcane who wrote most of the score and songs for the show.
