The version I got was from fit girl repacks. It was pretty easy to download, comes with all expansions and works really well, the only downside is that all in game connection to the internet is turned off so you can't download/upload things to the gallery. Also be careful bc it seems like there are some fake copies of the fit girl website so you gotta make sure you're on the right one (I'll see if I can find the link to the site or a video tutorial for you 2 later). I also heard of a version that works with the gallery too but I haven't tried this one yet

it’s bizarre to me the sims team won’t address this until several months from now, where THEN they will say in a few months there will be an update fixing the bugs, when modders have fixed it in the same week it came out… not only that but almost every “bug fixing patches” bring more bugs and issues!

It’s funny you should mention Samsung, they fully refunded my washing machine after they weren’t able to repair it. I highly doubt we will see the same level of customer service from EA. I’ve also been around since the original Sims, and I agree. This is the worst of the Sims franchise.

They won't make the base game tea sets or laundry hamper functional because then they would have to add washing machines and tea ceremonies to the base game. The tea ceremonies might be ok but if you add washing machines to the base game can you justify the laundry day pack? Well, tbh, EA probably could find a way to "justify" it.

I stopped playing sims 4 a year ago because the glitches literally made it impossible, especially because i love playing with toddlers. Sims 3 alll the way♥️ trying to get my hands on sims 2

the problem with the TV or dishwasher analogy is that The Sims doesn't currently have any competition. In capitalism, the theory goes that the free market allows for "healthy" competition, which forces all the companies to improve their product and/or lower their prices. The Sims however, operates in a market with no competition, which gives EA the arrogance and audacity to make unfinished lazy products because the customers who are looking for a life simulator with a strong community have ONE option. This is akin to a monarchy or dictatorship in which the peasants are forced to abide by the rules imposed by the government and have no choice in the matter.

As someone who's grown up with all four versions at one point or another on console, with no access to mods to this day and having never known until adulthood that I had been missing out on a *_lot_* of features, I had bought Sims 4 because it was supposed to be _exactly_ like the pc version, and I was hella excited for it before. In all fairness, they weren't lying considering I play the game easier with a mouse and keyboard, and only really use the controller rarely to change poses for photos. I've seen some people in the comments talking about going back to Sims 2 and 3 after the highschool update, and they talk about how there seems to be a lot more to do and the world isn't as empty. I can say the same, even though I had a slightly different experience with it. My experience was kinda limited, or at least that's what it feels like when I hear about all the stuff the Sims *used* to have, that I didn't even know was a thing when I was a kid; like cinematic cutscenes that aren't just the introduction to a new lot in Story Mode, for one of many examples. I still love the games, all of them have there own pros and cons, even Sims 4 isn't terrible with it's new features and variety. In comparison, it has a _lot_ more, but I won't buy another pack until they actually get all the bugs and glitches fixed. Sims's 4 is below par gameplay wise despite the variety it grants, whether you're building, *or* playing the game. I'm not holding out much hope that the game will get fixed by EA themselves though, since they seem to rely on the Modders and don't seem to give a flying fig about console gamers; why would they need to "fix" the game when the modders are doing it all for free? If the game keeps crashing and lags, must be the console or PC you're playing on, or the mods. Basically talented people are being used as a cop out so the developers don't have to worry about it, and console gamers are left on the wayside because the modders can't even help us in that regard. I love the games for letting me create the stuff I can, but I hate that my game is so messed up. It just doesn't seem to be worth the money to buy anymore.

Technically my first game was Sims 3 Pets on console (but I didn’t play it long before losing it) but as I play the Sims 4 I wish I at least had the sims 3 and 2 bc they look so fun

I haven't played Sims 1, I started with 2, then played 3, then 4. Sims 4 is the worst one. I don't really play it anymore, because the gameplay is just no fun at all to me. It's boring and frustrating. I love building houses and creating sims in Sims 4, but that's it, and all the money I've spent on packs was wasted, because I played with them for two days and never again. I still come back to Sims 2 regularly, and sometimes I play 3 as well, but Sims 4 just feels so lifeless. I haven't bought a new pack since University, and I bought most of the ones I have on sale, but it's still a shit ton of money that I spent on this game that isn't even fun. I really hope Paralives turns out well, EA needs competition!

Well... at least they did stuff.. my sims got no guests.... even when invited. They would not walk the isle. They did get married... not wearing formal wear lol ( I had to manually change them to wear it, which they decided to change into swimwear for whatever reason) and they literally WOULD NOT KISS. Nothing else happened nor would work so I was just like: ok...

Sims 4 is that game where every once in a while I'll play it, and then get bored after a short while and leave. Meanwhile, with sims 3 I'd go really far with it, but stop playing because real life came a knocking and wanted my time back (seriously though, every time I stop playing sims 3 for a while it's because life get's in the way. Sims 4 on the other hand just bores me to near death that I go dragging my heels back to real life because my mediocre life is far more exciting - first time a sims game for me was somehow more underwhelming than real life).

You know speaking of the first three sims. (Don't know if you had to do this for sims 2 or not I was still playing the first one when they came out.) But unlike with sims 43 you had to put in that code thing (I think it was a registration code.) So, basically had to save how ever many boxes or instruction books (Dang that tell you how old it is. They used to use paper to make the instruction books and now you just go to a website for such things. lol) But Sims 4 you don't need it. Now I shall tell you something funny. My Niece by the time she was old enough to be allowed to play the sims I was already playing Sims 3. So, I gave her all of my Sims 1 base game and game expansions. (It was the complete collection one so only needed one instruction booklet that had all the codes in it.) She enjoyed every bit of it She played it for about two years before she got a new computer and started playing sims 3. Anyways one day she was digging in her room and I asked "Whaddup girl?" Well, she was getting out the Sims complete collection pack because she wanted to play it again. I was like "Cool ... Cool." And I started to leave then I backed myself up and leaned back saying "Don't forget the instruction booklet." And she said she lost that awhile ago but doesn't need it. I told her that she would need the codes again and she was like "SERIOUSLY?!? I thought that was a one time thing." I said "Nope it would have been if you still had your old computer but now you need it for this one." She looked for two hours for that booklet then gave up and went back to playing sims 3. Then a few years later She screwed up her computer because she found a website that let you install sims 3 expansion packs without buying them and she ended up with a virus that totally screwed up her computer. When I had first found out she was doing that and tried to get me to. I said nope that stuff is illegal and that it would bit her in the butt and if the cops ever come I am so ratting you out.

The thing that I think a lot of simmers forget or don't notice is that completing aspirations gives you a reward trait and you can see what reward traits you'll get when you're looking at aspirations, or at least in live mode... and boy, oh boy is the Fabulously Wealthy one powerful. lol It's kind of cheaty, but it's nice to have if you want easy living. lol The Sims 4: Easy Living. loooooool x'Pc

EA has really annoyed me 🥱with not hiring modders and people who Love the Sims game to be the people who invest in making the game. (not people who just need a job🤨) Why?? It is a shame and they are so full of💩💩☠️💩🤬 and want Money💸💸💸 We ask ourselves does it make sense to buy a game now and yes I buy the game? And, I have brought all the games. My first Sims game that I played was the sims4 and I just assumed this is the best we were gonna get but when I saw how Sims3 was- i was too stunned to speak🥲 The sims4 needs to open their eyes and see what’s happening, they have gone from meh to bad to worse to this.
