Interesting fact: The AK-12 muzzle brake (barrel tip) has special spikes. These spikes have 2 purposes: 1. Breaking sheets and clearing easily breakable obstacles. 2. Elimination of wire clutter. The muzzle brake rests on the wire (the spikes prevent the wire from slipping) and tightens it. Then a shot is fired. The bullet leaving the barrel breaks the wire. You DO NOT need to waste time on an additional tool to overcome this obstacle.

Interesting fact: AK-12 has unique bayonet muzzle adapter, that allows you to attach only two types of muzzle devices produced only by Kalashnikov Consern. AK-12 silencer is pretty rare device even in Russian armed forces

Suppression by sound of a shot is bullshit, because enemy mostly afraid of the sound of a hit. At a distance of 300-400 meters the sound of a shot will be pretty quiet, especially when you used to everyday shooting sounds.

I said that silencer is important for night operations, cause it reduces muzzle flash that illuminates NVG's and unmasks the soldier. 2) Yeah you are absolutely right, that shots with silencer are pretty loud. But silencer also defuses sound, that makes detection of soldiers position harder. 3) You're absolutely incompetent in this theme if you think, that Russian special forces prefer Val to AK-74M. One famous OMON vet once said, that Val is more police weapon than an army weapon. Val is pretty uneffective on the 200+ meters range. It's only usable in urban combat or in mountains. That's not my words, but words of users. 9*39 ammo is also 1.5 times heavier than 5.45. Infantryman ammunition in Russian forces is about 6 mags and 200-400 cartridges (in bulk? Sorry, eng isn't my native language. I hope you understand what I mean). Full 9*39 ammunition weights lot more than 5.45. Val mag is also have only 20 rounds instead of 30. I know about 30rnd mags for VAL-M or Vikhr, but they're rare and heavy. All in all Russian special forces prefers AK-74M or AK-105 or their analogs in 7.62 with Alfa arms or hexagon suppressors. They also can use VAL, VSS or SR-3 for SOME tasks. I have spoken.

Russia and it' s weapons has come a long way from it' s WWII mass production of limited quality because they needed to focus on quantity. The West can produce ( maybe) better looking weapons, and more expensive( for sure), but at the end of the day, there' s a small difference , even some Russian made weapons outperform when it comes to durability and reliability, and during the war operations that is very important.

главная проблема калибра 7.62 в весе боеприпаса и быстрой потери скорости пули при выстреле.это как у натовского патрона 5.56 калибра.да пуля быстрая, быстрее чем русский 5.45. но аэродинамические показатели хуже у калибра 5.56 изза чего несмотря на начальную большую скорость пули она быстрее тормозит в воздухе. на дальности в 200 или 300 метров не помню точно пули 5.45 и 5.56 сравниваются по скорости а на дистанции в 800 метров русская пуля в полтора раза быстрее движется. проще говоря баллистические показатели у русской пули лучше.и на дистанции она лучше себя показывает.несмотря на большую энергию пули 7.62 она ее так же быстро теряет.а учитывая что вместо 100 патронов 7.62 ты можешь взять около 150 патронов 5.45 на бой очевидно что выгодней для солдата.при этом поражающее действие 5.45 не уступает калибру 7.62 проще говоря тебя убьют обе пули но меньшего калибра боеприпасов ты сможешь взять больше. это и было главным при переходе на меньший калибр. больше боезапас на туже массу и лучше баллистические показатели на дистанции стрельбы. но справедливости ради стоит сказать что наверное наиболее оптимальным для винтовок калибром будет 6мм.в росиии разрабатывался патрон под такой калибр ион показал лучшие результаты но увы.слишком много на складах старых патронов и переход на новый боеприпас сочли слишком дорогим дорогим и нецелесообразным. так же замечу что в россии разрабатывался и другой патрон калибра 4.5мм или 4.7.но это было нечто иное.это был по сути дротик а не обычная пуля.длинная тонкая пуля как небольшая стрела. на испытаниях этот патрон показал лучшие показатели кучности и точности на дистанции.так же скорость пули была выше что позволяло не только далеко и точно стрелять но и пробивать бронежилеты намного лучше чем классические пули.тоже были планы перейти на этот патрон но так как склады заполнены старыми патронами тоже отказались. в целом если не делать вот такие длинные тонкие пули то наиболее оптимально выбрать калибр 6мм или 6.5.с такой пулей можно получать и хорошие баллистические показатели и убойное воздействие на цель и броне пробитие.

Я служил еще в Советском спецназе и мы предпочитали 5.45 ,меньше отдача,дальше точная стрельба да убивать с этого калибра было более эффективным.

справедливости ради скажу что да оружие не такое качественное как более старые варианты.больше пластика , дешевле изготовление. оружие стало похоже больше на американские образцы оружия для тира а не для реальной войны. но при этом ак-12 все же лучше западного оружия. ак-12 скорее жертва маркетинга тут да не оспоришь.он менее качественный чем старые варианты но не более того. ак-12 по прежнему надежней ар-15 например или м4а1.

странно что не рассказали о таких комплексах как винторез и прочих вариантах разработанных под патрон сп5 и сп6 с тяжелой дозвуковой пулей. а как вам папочка винтореза? крупнокалиберная винтовка калибра 12.7 сделанная по такому же принципу как и винторез? винтовка именуемая - выхлоп. огромная тяжелая но дозвуковая пуля 12.7. в любом случае это уникальное оружие со специальными боеприпасами.насколько мне известно в мире такого больше никто не делает. тем более под калибр 12.7. конечно ВСС винторез и ВАЛ старое оружие но есть и пистолет-пулемет под такой патрон и крупнокалиберная винтовка ВЫХЛОП как папочка ВСС винторез. так же есть винтовка со сбалансированной автоматикой с подвижным стволом дающая высокую кучность при стрельбе очередями по 2 патрона.про это тоже ни слова.а это по своей сути уникальное оружие в мире. вообще в россии разрабатывается очень много вариантов стрелкового оружия. но тупые политики не выделяют финансирования и большая часть этих разработок не получает жизни. старый добрый калашников как всегда главный.хотябы потому что этих винтовок огромное количество на складах.и если есть на складах много оружия зачем новое....а разработок действительно крутого оружия очень много. но увы.

I like the idea of have a gun suppressed in the ammo. It’s very interesting and apparently it works. Or they would not be using it. The only problem from a design platform I can see. реальная война это не стрельба в тире. лучше иметь плохую по характеристикам стрельбы винтовку но работающую всегда в любых условиях и безотказную чем крутой обвешанный различным дополнительным оборудованием дорогой вариант который немного лучше стреляет но ненадежен. и калашников тут увы вне конкуренции.есть различные образцы которые могут иметь выше скорострельность или кучность, быть легче, с возможностью присоединения множества приспособлений для боя или мощнее но все они уступают в стоимости и надежности. когда ты будешь ползать в грязи и крови своих соратников на поле боя и твоя ар-15 или м4 заклинит а калашников проглотит грязь и продолжит стрелять ты поймешь почему все выбирают калашников. лучше плохо стрелять чем красиво заклинить...

AK-12 has problem with fire selector, you will see it in this video - it can be over turned to position, that bloks access to trigger. Additionaly plastic handguard rails are not holding 0 - it is wobbling. The best part of this gun is magazine :D. Even in Ukraine war they noticed it and ukraininan soldiers take only this part from this gun.

Actually no it’s not. The only thing that it is truly better at is in frozen conditions. You have to pour water over it and let it freeze to a block of ice and it will fire. But in mud it sucks Educate yourself. There are plenty of videos on KZbin showing it fail over and over in mud. It also fails in sand too 😂
