this was a family favorite at our house. we watched it often on tv. The gag when Harry stays in the pool too long is my favorite.

Loved Jerry's movies as a kid. Only by contrasting Jerry's live TV performances could you notice the restraint we see Jerry practice on screen. "The Nutty Professor" revealed both dramatic and comedic chops when playing his characters Buddy Love and the Professor.

My father took my siblings and I to movies, even to drive-ins. We had a lot of fun. One weekend he took us to see a movie he thought we would like. It turned out to be Star Wars. You are right. It's not just the movie it is the whole experience that makes it special. Thx TFH

Jerrys stuff may seem quaint now, but it was fresh and new when he did it first and best. Who new we'd still have these movies around 60+ years later. Thank god for a bit of simplicity in a crazy world.

Absolute legend. So much of my early love for comedy is because of Jerry.

This really hit home. My 1st experience with Jerry's films was "Cracking Up". From 1980??
