Just bought that exact same Bible, even though I know Allan is coming out with a new ESV at the end of the month I had to grab this one before it was too late... depending on the specs of the new one I might buy that one as well

Hey brother Tim. Thank you for your work. Curious how big this bible is compared to a cambridge wide margin. That's the only bible I have that I feel may be around the same size but that seems awfully big. I recently got a schuyler psq hoping that there would be enough room in the margin to scribble little notes and cross references but it's not really working out that way too well. I absolutely love the size and its so great for reading with the references down at the bottom. Wish I had devoted it to that before marking in it. However I love the ability to mark in the outer and inner margins. My cambridge is too big to lug around. I love how this bible has ample margin space without being a wide margin. But if it's practically the same size as a wide margin bible then why wouldn't I just stick with that. I wish that they would make a bible model that is in that sweet spot size that has a "sufficient margin" where it's just big enough to take some small notes. Like my old NKJV nelson end of verse reference bible. Speaking of Nelson and the NKJV, (I know you are a fellow NKJV lover.) I found a brand new nelson NKJV wide margin in my church library that someone abandoned or that was left over from the church bookstore from many years ago. I am not talking about the new one that just came out this year. I'm talking about the old one with the old ugly bonded leather. It is just like the royal reference bible but a full wide margin. Have you seen those? It is a beautiful! The guy who runs the church book store let me have it for free! Brand new. What a find! Anyways love your channel. I am more of a reformed baptist and I really appreciate that you bring up other topics besides bible reviews too. There are many things going on in our world and the church that need to be talked about and I appreciate your charitable attitude without being afraid to stand on the truth. These Bible's are costly but are well worth it when you compare them to factory made mass produced Bible's that appear to have no quality control, in addition to the price margin which in some cases is nearly as high as these beautiful premium Bible's.

I'm in need of a translation recommendation, must not be textus receptus nt, also must not be esv or niv. If it reads similar to the nkjv it would be great.

I read and listen that csb translation on the YouVersion bible app and I do like it a lot, the nasb as well, but I do think I'll go for the csb, many thanks dude! Edit. I see the CSB is available here locally, so will not have to import :D - Nasb is scarce here.
