Can’t believe this is the first time I’ve watched this. The sound is oh my god. The camera work is perfect. How is Harvey at the 45 minute mark with arm resting on the door. The focusing on Gricey ‘s tacho. And did I mention the sound of that engine. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ oh, and how good was the start. Love it all. group A was my favourite

Brilliant footage! Really interesting to see one drivers point of view of the race. Many thanks for the upload. This was when Gricey's VL was still white, before that cool orange colour scheme was applied. I am so buying the diecast replica of his '87 bathurst car!

Where in hell did that M3 come from at the start? Grice blasted past Brock, and Tony Longhurst blew past him. I thought the M3's clutch wasn't designed to do standing starts.....or did Frank run a heavy duty clutch in those black Bimmers? And when Grice passed Brock after his pit stop....ya gotta love Brock's arm resting on the window sill as he's casually racing.

Peter Hunter - I remember Brock doing that at Sandown when going down the main straight. He always looked very cool when racing.
