The performance was not bad, and if they had a better attack, they win this match comfortably. One thing the All blacks need to get rid of is the 12/13 combo, none of them offer anything different to the attack. And nothing against Anton, but him having around 82 caps for the all blacks shows how much the struggle has been since Nonu and Smith left. They had enough of the ball to win the match but their attack was bad, often on this tour they find themselves with just one player on the wing, needing to beat 5 players to score a try. Next hire is definitely an attacking coach

@nicolasperdrix561741 минут бұрын
As a french supporter, I think it was an amazing match with a lot of intensity. The AB scrum was really stronger than our, and AB didn't get paid for this. I've read comments saying that when AB were 4 points behind at the end, it was a bad choice to take only 3 points but in my opinion, in the 1st half, AB should have scored with penalties instead of running after tries. I am often surprised that many teams didn't like to add 3 points. Defences are so good that it's hard to get a try. Yesterday, the french defence was really good...

Great physical effort! More mental clarity or neurological coherence is required in pressure moments to make the right decisions especially whether to offload pass or not. Razor talks about earning the right to make a clean offload but they didn’t integrate this at least in this game. It would have likely stopped that one French try. It’s obviously tough to know in a split second but a skill well worth mastering. It’s a learning to be champions again year for the ABs to close out winning moments, overall good progress.!🙌🏽👏

Robertson has valued him and has given him lots of opportunities and I know that he has been good in super rugby and has qualities, strong, decent defence usually etc - but that was unforgivably slow and poor. Ioane would have caught the player if in that same position. Will Jordan for sure. Telea probably. Hell, Ardie Savea did an immeasurably better job at chasing, later in the game. I don't think Ratima is ready for this level. We saw him rattled last weekend as well

The sting appeared to go out of the ABs attack when Roigard was subbed. But 9pts to France from odd penalties mid 2nd half for a 1pt loss...

well done AbS... you were the better team..

Doing an aggressive Haka towards the French and other teams seems OK , but when done in parliament parlament is suspended because its unacceptable. Very selective interpretation if you ask me. In a football match they should restrict the Haka as a cultural display aimed at the audience not the other team.

Wrong decision by captain to take points and not kick to corner. Similarly wrong decision by coach to replace Roigard with Ratima. Game lost right there.

Ae you starting to develop a complex against France? (as in you can't beat them) What a stupid question FFS !!! It's not like they thrashed us. We almost dominated every single match statistic except the scoreboard.

Incredible that france won the last three games vs all blacks. The last time was in the 80's. France doesnt pass 1/4 world cup ..last time in 2011. All blacks will be in finale again in 2027 and they can win it.

Because referees are an absolute farce in WC since they do everything as possible to favour the French's opponents ! With a non corrupted referee, France would have been world champ already

How the ref never gave the ABs all those scrum penalties is beyond me

Mils was right when he said 9 wins in the year. Does that mean Italy will roll them next week?

Way too much noise after their little bubble the last few weeks. Never ever underestimate the French .

Scooter doesn’t convince me like captain and leader . This guy was captain with Razor saders and he can’t be it with all blacks

For perspective this is a French side that’s only played 1 game so far against a pretty abysmal Japan team(no offence). This French side is also missing a host of players that bet us last year at the WC23. So for the AB’s to not win convincingly is a real worry and puts a sour note on what Razor had been working to these last few weeks. A loss to the Argies, 2 losses to the Boks, A loss to the French.

Lessons were learned. Vital experience for the young Razor Blacks. Already a successful tour. On to the next lesson. The road to 2027 .

Good performance but we let France off the hook! We took Roigard off way too early when he was playing so well and we didn't go for the try instead of a kick with 5 minutes to go!??
@Londonman56449 минут бұрын
We went for penalties the French went for tries that was the difference. Ffs make ardie captain 🙄

I thought the AB’s were great. Not sure why Roiguard was taken off. Razor should be really pleased. He sounded gutted😢

Great game and good effort by the ABs. Not going with a 6/2 split was a mistake given the size of the French pack...and Finau's early injury didn't help. We effectively ended up with 4 forwards coming off the bench. The bench came on late...some (Aumua) played well while Tuipolotu and Tiso were solid...Tu'angafasi's crock roll was a poor call as he was simply bowled over together with the French played by a cleanout...not a penalty. Savea was fantastic at onside flanker for the first 40 then somewhat nullified in the second half. Peter Lakai is an AB through and through...the AB's best carrier...much better than Finau has been when given his chances to fill the 6 jersey. Williams was enormous and Sititi played a good game without being spectacular...they went to him a little too much in the lineouts. Scooter played a solid game while Vai'i was hot and cold...and played too loose at the wrong times, coughing up the ball for the French try that swung the game's momentum...he will learn. Promote and play Fabian Holland at 4 alongside Scooter and move Va'i to the bench as a loosie replacement. In the back line Roigard was outstanding and a real point of difference. He outplayed Dupont while he was on and will be an 80-minute beast once he gets back to full match fitness. His passes were like spiraling bullets and he was quick off the base of the breakdown...marshalling his pack and keeping them going forward. Ratima was not in the same class when he came on and looked jittery and uncertain at times. He was not quick off the base and the penalty he got for delaying a clearance from inside the AB 22 was deserved. With the French a man down with 12.5 minutes to go he needed to be organizing his forwards and getting them on the front foot...he was unable to do this. This was a poor performance by him...he looked a little overwhelmed. Beauden Barrett was solid at flyhalf and ran the cutter well, though his tactical kicking was a little wayward and he was knackered with 20 to go. The AB's really need to find another game manager to share the role...maybe Harry Plummer, Josh Jacomb or Rueben Love. I'd school Jacomb and let Love understudy the trade as back-up. They could be the future. AB's have a real issue at center. Jordie played solidly until he picked up a knock, though they ought to promote Riley Higgins and give him a go alongside his Hurricanes partner Proctor next week against Italy. The real problem in the centers all year has been Reiko Ioane. He was again woeful on the attacking side of the ball. Spilled the pill at critical moments and was unable to find or create space for himself or his outsides. His experiment at center is now 3 years in and he has not made the transition...clearly does not have an eye for space or the distribution skills needed in by an international center. ALB looked fat and slow...enough said. I am not sure Scott Hansen is the right man to unlock New Zealand's backline talent...he's no Tony Brown. My team for Italy would be: 1. Williams, 2. Aumua, 3. Lomax, 4. Holland, 5. Scooter, 6. Lakai, 7. Savea, 8. Sititi, 9. Roigard, 10. Barrett, 11. Clarke, 12. Higgins, 13. Proctor, 14. Jordan, 15. Love -- Bench: DeGroot, Taylor, Tosi, Vai'i, Kirifi, Hotham, Jacomb, Dmac.
