Thank you very much. cfse for {Co(NH3)6}^3+ strong field is 2.4delta o and for {Cocl4}^2- week field 3d7 system is .8 delta o.

Plz check again for [CoCl4]²¯ it's tetrahedral complex so you'll get Delta t and if you want you can convert it to delta o also.

Very nice question, You can understand this better if you see the the 3d structure of octahedral complex. It is called octahedral bcoz it has 8 faces. But vertices are 6 and at those six vertices we have ligands. So coordination number becomes 6 but it is octahedral as it has 8 faces.

The overall energy is getting split into two energy levels so we have to assign the value total orbitals are 5 among which 3 got lower energy and 2 got higher that's why energy is split into 2/5 and 3/5

sir i am your regular viewer and i'am confused about topic selection for phd my area of interest is nanoscience and pharmaceutical but my specialization in organic plz give me some information about these two topics which will be best topic for phd and the institute CDRI AND NCL which is best for phd in these topics

nanoscience is evolving feild and it has alot of scope but in India still it is not that evolved, the facilities are only available in some selected institutes of India. in CDRI and NCL the best work is going on in Organic Chemistry as per my knowledge. If your intrest is in Nanoscience there are many options where Organic and Nano converge together, for pharma we all know that organic is basis of that. CDRI and NCL both are good, go for any one of them,

thank you sir sir i have inspire fellowship and NET LS BUT Not jrf and i have also qualified state university exam where nanoscience faculty available but through inspire my interview for phd started from next year so should i join state university for phd and after one year can i transfermy phd from state university to csir labs

Since you have inspire fellowship you can easily get any IIT for PhD, I will not recommend you to join state universities as their you might not get good facilities for research. After one year you may face problem in transferring your labs. Try to get what you want, don't compromise on your side.

Sir I completed m.sc. in pharmaceutical chemistry from Banasthali vidyapeeth with 78% marks in 2008 n preparing for NET LS from last 1 month. I know it's a big gap but family reasons. So I need ur advise if it's a good decision or not? 2nd question is..if anyhow I clear the exam will I need m. Sc. Chemistry degree to get a assistant professor job in college. Please suggest me best option. 3rd question..if I need a m.sc. Chemistry degree can I do it online /correspondence because I have kids n family. If you want to peruse your career as a lecturer then your decision is good. Yes after qualifying the exam when you'll get the degree you've to send your marksheets to get it from CSIR or UGC.

Yes for degree only you can do correspondence. But keep studying as you've a huge gap and all basics must be vanished from mind till now, try to buildup your basics again, work hard and success will be yours. 👍

yes you can do NET, there is no age limit for that. regarding will it be important for you? this depends on your area of work. if you are teacher then NET degree will help you in promotions, if you are in pharma company then also it will help. but if you are in some non chemistry feild then it won't help much.
