Same sis. I have complex PTSD and have been clinically depressed for most of my life. I’m not sure if we’ll ever actually be healed from our traumas, the best we can hope for is to manage them in an adaptive way so we give ourselves the opportunity to experience more joy. I’m here to lend an ear if you need one.

Would you consider adoption, regardless of the outcome, an adverse childhood experience? Or yet, a trauma?

What does alexthymic mean?
@DocSnipes
@DocSnipes 10 ай бұрын
Thank you for watching the video. Alexithymia is a term used in psychology to describe a person's difficulty in recognizing and expressing their emotions. Someone with alexithymia may have trouble identifying and verbalizing their feelings. This can make it challenging for them to understand and communicate their emotional experiences effectively.
