Dear Doc Snipes, A stupid Q: Do yhe wonderful , to the point/ on-the-spot professional help(ers) that you so well describe in your videos exist in reality? If yes, for whom? Is it through some fault or flaw of mine that I haven't got the right ptoper examination, asessment and treatmnt(s)/ help despite seeking it and helping myself as well as I can for 40 years? Please answer- SOS! All the best to you.

I want to become a Porn/Sex addiction Recovery Coach, but wanted to know what is suggested to get started? Also, I watched the video, but don't know if it was addressed as the difference between a Sponsor and a Recovery Coach.

No, a sponsor is something different than a recovery coach. Recovery coach is more of a career.

I wonder if former addicts are unsuitable or uniquely qualified.
@corygiesbrecht54232 жыл бұрын
Totally qualified! I would encourage make sure to have a bit of clean time under your belt and solid in your own recovery. Up here in Alberta Canada the government is starting a pilot project of recovery coaching program and all the staff are recovering addicts themselves. These type of individuals are very knowledgeable of the challenges that the Addict faces.
